Excellent location. Walkable to UVA and various restaurants. Valet parking was very convenient and the attendants were very responsive. We had one issue with our room and we really appreciated how the staff handled the situation professionally and went above and beyond to make it right.
The front disk staf sean was amazing, the game room was always open and comfortable for everyone the noise block is great, the hotel is very clean and wonderful
There’s no laundry service, no breakfast included and the coffee is not that good, sometimes the house keeper forgot to fill the water or the cups in the room and you have to go bring your water
A friend and I stayed at the Graduate Hilton across the street from the U of Virginia. Perfect area to walk, stroll through campus, plenty of food choices to choose from, all clustered together. The Graduate is not only prime location, the rooms are beautifully appointed, in UVA colors, super comfortable, lovely treats to enjoy, great views and the open rooftop restaurant and bar where we sat outside and enjoyed the most orange full moon I’ve ever seen!
And the staff couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating, from the front desk staff to the engineer to the valets to the barista at the cafe and bartender on the 9th floor!
Even if you don’t have a child attending UVA you should definitely visit the wonderful city of Charlottesville and stay a while at The Graduate of the Hilton!
My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Graduate. Comfy beds and large room .
The staff was very welcoming and always willing to help. Wendy was extremely professional and assisted us whenever we needed anything with big smile.
The valet service was also a great plus — our car was always ready and available whenever we requested it.
We will definitely come back and highly recommend the Graduate to others!
I did not particularly enjoy staying here, but also think that I was simply the wrong demographic for this place. I knew it was going to be very UVA-intensive (I have zero connection to the place), and it was only for one night, but the frat-party atmosphere was a bit much. Location was good, though, and we did get a decent night's sleep in spite of the hubbub.
Great hotel. Angelique in the Trophy Room restaurant deserves recognition for her excellent service while dealing with huge crowds from two separate wedding parties. Excellent location and service.
We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. The location is hard to beat—situated right on the Corner and just a short walk from the Lawn, making it the perfect choice for visiting the UVA.
Our room was clean and comfortable. The giant Wahoo fish over the bed was a interesting choice. One of the highlights was the restaurant, which offered great food and service on the rooftop. Overall a great stay.
From Chip, the valet greeting you, to Wendy at the front desk… The people and the service at Graduate Charlottesville, were A+! Wonderfully designed room, comfy bed, and a fun rooftop bar. Location? Top-notch...steps from campus.

The staff was amazing and the location was perfect.
My main issue with the hotel was room safety. There is a gap between the floor and the bottom of the door of about an inch and a half. Someone can easily get a tool and break into the room. Also let’s in light from the hall at night as well as a lot more sound. Will never stay here again due to safety issues.
A quick shout out to the valet team at The Graduate. They are always nice, prompt, and professional. Chip in particular is a joy to encounter each time I’m there—he is professional, courteous, thoughtful and kind. I really appreciate the good service.

Chip, the daytime valet/parking garage attendant, is fantastic! Organized, friendly, efficient.
First visit to Charlottesville and to a Graduate property, as well. First off, the contracted valet service for our car was brilliant; excellent and friendly service. Check in was the same, very welcoming and staff arranged for our family to be right across the hall, which was very convenient. Rooms were fun with clever touches as the keycard, school colors, and the privacy sign, too. Perfectly located for walkability to campus, restaurants and shopping. Monticello is a quick drive away, too. We only wish the bar upstairs was open a little later but other than that, it was all good. We look forward to a return visit!
