Rustic hotel
Pros:

Love the rustic atmosphere and exceptional service.

Cons:

The mattress on the twin bed was somewhat worn and I could feel the spring in the centre of the bed. Would be nice if they changed the mattress.

I’m really disappointed with the service from your hotel. I had booked a room with one king bed for my parents, but instead they were given a room with three single beds without anyone informing them beforehand. Thats already unacceptable, but what makes it worse is that the room was smelly, dusty, and dirty. The floor was not clean and the beds looked dirty and uncomfortable to sleep on. This is not the kind of experience I expected after making a proper booking and trusting your hotel with my parents’ stay.

Pros:

Better than Kew Gardens with an amazing view with lots of geodesic domes for plants and if you don’t know what a geodesic dome is, you will come out knowing all about them!

Penang Hill never fails to rejuvenate the mind, body and soul
Pros:

1. Friendly and helpful staff. They even helped resolve luggage issue with a staff at the train station (foot of the hill).
2. Kitchen staff was flexible enough to accommodate my request for breakfast.
3. Love the terrace and garden that overlooks Georgetown city
4. Free entrance into the mini bird park

Cons:

1. To alert (not in a fine print but to send a text message to) guests on the luggage policy by the train station and to suggest solutions. Because this luggage policy was not highlighted to me, I was shocked when informed that I could not bring my luggage on the train.
2. To expand breakfast menu. To offer something local instead of the standard continental set. I had to request for something local.

Not recomended this hotel at all.. female indian receptionist was rude and very unhelpful.. the hotel management was also irresponsible and unwilling to help me with the online reservation problem.. they are not willing to help their guest!! veryy bad service.. i will not recomend this hotel to any one, pls do not book this hotel if you do not want any problem.

Was disappointed and did not get a good sleep, 😫
Pros:

The breakfast was ok and simple.

Cons:

The rooms r a total disaster, very old. Some rooms are without air con, the toilet flush did not work, the beds r hard and have bed bugs. The walls are dirty and the bathroom are not pleasant. Overall will not come again or recommend to others.

The only choice for staying at the top of Penang hill. Could be wonderful after some renovation
