Amazing and can't wait to be back
Pros:

We loved everything about this property. The location is excellent and the deco is like you have stepped out of the 60/70's. If you are a 70/80's child make sure you look up the location of the Brady Bunch house which is a 10min walk away

Excellent stay and great value!
Pros:

I really loved the facilities and the overall value the hotel provides. Very clean, nice decor. Location is pretty good too. I would return for sure.

Great Hotel near Universal Studios
Pros:

The hotel grounds was very beautiful, our room was small but comfortable for us as a small party.
The consierge staff was wonderful, special shoutout to Jorge who made us feel very welcome.
The complimentary shuttle to Universal Studies was on time and the drop off / pick up location is literally steps from the door. The pool area looked very nice, but it was pretty crowded.

Cons:

Unnecessary communication from back office staff. Daily texting (should be opt in)

We received a letter from general manager for putting our doordash / food related trash in the balcony overnight.
I didn't want to put in hallway that could cause smell, tried to arrange pickup but was not possible. placed outside for housekeeping to pickup and secured it so animals would not come.

The housekeeping staff did not remove our trash, but we got a letter from management that we created risk that it could fall. It also seemed like there was unnecessary medaling. For instance, I used the laundry bag to store our dirty laundry, the letter from management notes there is laundry facilities on the grounds, etc.

Overall, our experience with front team was quite incredible. Just noting these as improvement points as I am sure we would return, and there are better ways to handle communications with guests.

I’d recommend this property to anyone!
Pros:

Such a beautiful hotel! A little gem in the middle of Hollywood. The property felt like an oasis. I love the style and atmosphere. The restaurant food was so good and the trolly was so wonderful.

Pros:

Le personnel du voiturier à la réception jusqu’à l’homme de l’entretien technique croisé au hasard, sont très chaleureux. Si le personnel du bar fait un petit effort, tout sera parfait. Très jolie suite portola décorée de manière harmonieuse. La proximité de l’autoroute et de l’aéroport de Burbank j’imagine, ne sont pas un frein. La chambre reste silencieuse et l’on y dort parfaitement. Un sentiment de sécurité absolu dans cet établissement. Un charmant petit magasin à visiter pour des souvenirs variés et un restaurant de qualité. Ceci est mon second séjour depuis juillet dernier et vraiment, je reste sous le charme

Bougie on a budget
Pros:

From the moment we arrived I felt like we were at a luxury hotel. The staff was attentive and accommodating. The facilities were all very clean and well kept. The bed was very comfortable, shower water pressure was impressive. The parking was very close to our room. The ground are very pretty with lush landscaping, lots of garden lights and wonderful ambience. There are games out on the patio for the whole family to enjoy. In the lobby is a beautiful fireplace with seating. The location is very easy to get to and and easy to maneuver around. (I have a large truck and always worry about that!)

Cons:

The mini fridge was tiny. We travel with our own bottled water and drinks for kiddo. The fridge was maybe 20"×20" and half full of alcohol and water they hoped you would buy at an astronomical amount of $. This was not appreciated as a recovering alcoholic. It also didn't have a freezer. Plus it was not very cold.

The parking fee of $50/day was ridiculous. I would not be upset at $25/day as we do utilize the shuttle, but $50 was a lot.

The "adult jacuzzi" was a joke. There were seemingly underage adultz drinking in it, breaking glasses and being loud and chaotic on night one. It's 10 feet from the family jacuzzi and having to listen to drunk people with my child was uncomfortable.

I’d definitely recommend it
Pros:

Great location for the places in LA we wanted to go. Good value. Front desk staff were excellent.

Parking was too expensive.
