Pros:

The Hollis is always my hotel that I stay at when I am
In Halifax. It is clean, beautiful, and has a great atmosphere.

Bed is super comfortable!

great location
Pros:

Excellent location. A short walk to Pier 21 and the boardwalk and just steps away from Argyle St and live music.
Loved the warm cookies on check in.

Cons:

Parking is off site. They do offer valet parking for a fee. Lighting the bathroom is poor.

Overall, great stay
Pros:

My room was amazing with a beautiful view however the heat didnt seem to be working properly. They quickly gave me a small heater to help but I also didnt want the employees in thr foyer to freezer (it was -28 outside) with the doors opening frequently. So I gave it back and snuggled in the extra blanket.
We enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well. Food at the restaurant was delicious. Due to the heat issues I was given a viucher for our breakfast as well. That went above and beyond for me.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and got the relaxation I was looking for.

Cons:

I read about free cookies but didnt see anything and I was a bit disappointed that there was no complimentary breakfast. Though I ended up with one anyone.

Exceptional hotel in Halifax downtown
Pros:

I stayed 3 nights in the Hollis by Doubletree Hilton in Halifax NS downtown.

The suites are amazing as they offer lots of space and are bright and cosy.

Exceptional was the kindness of staff especially at the reception who helped me out finding my way through Halifax and its vicinity. Thanks for the maps and hints provided.

One out of three days I took the breakfast (à la card) which was delicious I must admit.

The location itself is perfectly located, close to the city center and next to the ferry connecting Halifax with Dartmouth.

Every day I used the great gym which avails of a Peloton bike and hence ensures quite some fun.

Excellent location I would love to visit again in the future🙏

Great place for family but also for solo and couples traveling because it is such a great location.
Pros:

Great staff, they helped us with all of our questions and were very responsive. The location in Downtown Halifax is prefect, for eating and events or just touring the city.

Cons:

It would be nice is the Suites offered a few more amenities, like silverware, plates. Maybe even a small dishsoap. It was also weird that there was no recycling bin.
