Enjoyed the stay and would stay again
Pros:

Friendly staff and was clean

Cons:

The water in the bath from the shower didn’t drain. So feet got a bath whilst I showered! Plus bath room door kept springing shut which was annoying when you wanted the door open

Comfortable and good value for its Mayfair location
Pros:

I stayed room only. Room was quiet, and in-room desk was good as working until 11am checkout.

Cons:

Kettle lead would not reach any plugs - so couldn't make a hot drink in room.

Cons:

I booked three rooms at this hotel, but unfortunately had to cancel one because my sister became seriously ill and could not travel. I explained the situation to the hotel management and requested a cancellation based on force majeure. Sadly, there was no empathy or flexibility shown. It felt as though the decision was driven purely by money rather than basic human understanding, which was extremely disappointing. Because of this experience, I will not return to this hotel and would not recommend it to others.

From a design and quality perspective, the hotel is in clear need of renovation. The door knob repeatedly fell off every time the door was closed, which reflects very poor maintenance and workmanship. The doors also slam loudly and are extremely noisy day and night; they should be lighter and acoustically treated for guest comfort. The pillows were uncomfortable, and the tables and cupboards are very old and of low quality.

Overall, the lack of compassion combined with poor interior quality made this stay a negative experience.
