Hollywood Beach Marriott

Hotel slightly dated but our room was large and comfy, spotlessly clean, fresh towels daily. Friendly staff, excellent location and the bottles of water on reception were very welcome.
Never waited long for a lift, nice and quiet (even when conference was on), lots of parking. Didn’t eat in hotel but food looked good when walking through restaurant.
We were 3 adults in a room with 2 double beds. Plenty of room. Paid 20 dollars for extra lounger on beach - typical of European prices. Originally booked an air bnb apartment but cancelled it due to it being for sale - glad we changed to this hotel and wouldnt hesitate to recommend.

Beautiful scenery, perfect for celebrating an occasion with loved ones. The food portions are generous, and reasonably priced. The best server we had there was Tristan, he was personable and timely!
He made sure all our requests and needs were met, with a great attitude and excellent menu recommendations.
This place is always on our to-do list when we’re in town. My wife and I will definitely be coming back! :)

Can’t beat the location, steps from the beach and right on the popular broadwalk. Steps from shops, restaurants, nightlife, music, and lovely sunsets. Kudos to welcoming and friendly staff. But property is old and tired. Most notably, for a full service Marriott charging an amenity fee daily, the absence of a concierge lounge is a serious betrayal of corporate promises. Free breakfast buffet Ellis, but it is a far cry from drinks, appetizers, a quiet place to chill, and the availability of round-the-clock snacks. Long food and water at the main desk is a cheap and easy way around not living up to your promises. Most regrettably, elevator inspection and safety certificates were 18 months expired and front desk staff seemed oblivious and unable to remedy it. Bathrooms need some renovation. Amenity fee gets you 2 chairs on the beach but an umbrella is $20 extra. So much for appreciating valued guests.

We paid close to $700 a night for a balcony ocean front room we got a ocean view as we looked over a restaurant vent hood and very dirty uncleaned glass I tried to change rooms but that wasn’t happening with management so we settled for a discount of a few $$$$ rooms our very out dated I thought I was at a motel 6 ! Black mold in bathroom sheets that didn’t fit the bed tv remote didn’t work for volume big love seat taken up lots of room space just a FYI stay away unless you enjoy out dated hotels at higher cost witch this was valentine weekend so I would call it price gouging very disappointing lesson learned next time will be Hollywood margaritaville ! Also this makes me rethink my bonvoy membership if this is marriotts choice type hotels you got me this time but not again please read all the bad reviews there totally correct

Stayed for 3 nights, it’s an expensive hotel but I guess most places are in this area in February. The location is great, right on the boardwalk and they have outdoor dining which is really nice. I guess I have mixed feelings. Check in was quick. I booked a room that had a balcony but be aware that just because it has a balcony the view may not be that great. Ours was a view of a roof lol ok no big deal. One afternoon we were in our room just taking a break and the cleaning staff were yelling really loud for like an hour to each other from room to room.
The AC was pretty noisy so we kept it off during the night. We enjoyed the bike rentals, smoothies and beach chairs which was part of the room fee but it’s $20 extra for an umbrella which is basically a money grab by Marriott seeing as you may be spending over $600 per night to stay here.
The buffet breakfast was decent. Our last morning there was no hot water in the shower.
All in all I had a good time at Hollywood beach just not sure I’d stay here again

Dylan was the best valet/Bellman ever! So kind and helpful! He made our vacation here so nice every time he helped us!

Good things - food and cocktails and bartenders good. Apparently they are renovating and getting rid of the outdoor bar which is too bad.
Room “amenities” fair. Coffee maker bare bones, no ceramic coffee mugs. Specifically asked for a room that did not look at a roof. Got a room looking at a rooftop. Birds eating pizza slices was my view. Could see beach so ok. Spent day at beach, go back right before 3 pm, room still not made up. Housekeeping carts all around me. Asked them what was up, they said “just one minute”. Very pleasant. Just slow going so ask if you want it done early. Beach guys were great, just don’t open til 9:30 am and very expensive. Two chairs included with hotel stay, but umbrella is $20. A shade cabana in front row is $100 😱.
In back $30 so a good option. Not a fancy place, but the basics are covered.

hotel was dated but nice staff was rude took forever to check in!! i think this was the worst marriott ive been to who ever manages this hotel need to find a new job

Love this hotel. Right across from the beach with complimentary chairs next to the ocean. Got in room massages and it was the best massage I have ever had. Highly recommend.

The staff at the hotel was amazing! Everyone was accommodating and kind! The food was great! The hotel was clean! It is aging but they are keeping up with that! It was located in a great place along the beach with great restaurants close by!

We liked the ocean view and well designed room at the Hollywood Beach Marriott. The pool deck is lovely and the free frozen mango fruit slushie was refreshing! There is loud music from late afternoon until 10:00 pm from the tiki bar next to the hotel, so it was difficult to relax and sleep. Maybe a room on the South side facing the pool area would have been better.

Hollywood Beach Marriott is a repeat destination for my family. You can literally throw a seashell into the ocean from this hotel because it’s that close to the water. The staff are all are phenomenal and I’ve never had a bad interaction. This hotel should be the training headquarters for all Marriott hotels. During our last stay, we met the nicest young women named Melina. She epitomizes what customer service should be and sets the benchmark for hospitality everywhere. We will be back soon.

Food quality was goog most ofvthe time. But service staff morning hostess for brackfast vary rude.

La ubicación es excelente. El hotel muy bien ambientado y con grandes vistas. Habitaciones amplias, buen mobiliario y camas cómodas.
