we could not get over the bad smell of the room and how old and outdated the hotel is

we could refill our water bottles in the gym

the carpet smelled like a combination of wet dog, corn chips, stinky feet and menthol cigarettes
the beds were double, not queen
the room was very small
the heater was very loud
the pillows were half the size of regular pillows
