Hampton Inn Key Largo

This property is about 15 free shuttle to the main tourist area of Key West. Lots of area to walk and explore in the tourist area. They do provide the standard "free" breakfast. Covers the basics but not a high protein offering if that interest you. No knock on them its the standard fare offered.

Right at the water’s edge with beautiful seating area, outdoor pool was nice, large and comfortable breakfast area and food was good.

Beach sunset breakfast great and we like the lunch to go

Wow this hotel was way nicer than expected! The private beach and tiki bar were a great bonus. And the rooms had nice southern decor and shaded balconies. Special thanks to Erta for helping us with the kayaks and making sure we had a nice stay! Highly recommend 🫶

Had a really great experience at this Hampton Inn which was amazing value. Kids learned to paddle board for super low prices and having the easy breakfast made it easy for us to move about the Keys with an early start. Kids liked the Tiki bar with non-alcoholic drinks and the mini-beach and pool and free cookies. Parents appreciated amenities and easy laundry and surprisingly nice workout room for great value. Also need to call out amazing service from Jolayne! Best value in the Keys!

We love that they own a litte but perfect beach and a tiki bar, very good restaurants near and stores.

Breakfast was ok, sunset area

This hotel is a total disaster. We arrived from a luxury stay in Miami only to find the dirtiest room I have ever seen. The interior has an overwhelming, sickening 'sweet-pea' chemical smell that clearly masks old grime. The door looks like it hasn't been wiped since the 'Dino Ages'—covered in greasy stains like it came out of an unwashed curry spa.

When we politely asked to move to one of the 8–9 empty rooms available, the staff was incredibly mean and flat-out refused. Even worse, they refused to let us speak to a manager. They are completely ignoring the 100% Hampton Guarantee ('If you're not 100% satisfied, we don't expect you to pay').

Between the 'beated up' state of the facility and the hostile attitude of the front desk, this place is a health and safety hazard. Do not stay here until they undergo a major 'refit' of both the building and the staff."

There is much to like about this hotel. The staff responsiveness and the setting are five stars. Our room 123 was in a great location. It is near the pool and a short walk to the lovely beach and sunset. The iguanas came out to graze in the lawn outside our patio. We just missed the manatee as they were reported to have shown up the day we were in Key West. However, the room was not as large as pictured. As others noted it is being updated and needs to be. The room had cracks in the granite countertops and small holes in the bedspread. The furniture did not have much padding. The plumbing was a problem as the toilet overflowed one night. To the credit of the superb staff, maintenance came to fix the problem within 5 minutes of our phone call. Additionally, the walls are thin with not much soundproofing so that we had to turn on the fan to try and keep the next door guests noise out. Once this hotel is updated and refurbished, it will be hard to beat. The beach with the sunset and tiki bar is wonderful. The staff are great. The pool is a nice size. It is located near restaurants and star attractions. We would definitely return given the lovely setting and the well trained staff.

Stayed at Hampton Inn Key Largo with a group of friends. The hotel is perfectly located right next to the John Pennekamp national park, making it easy to go snorkeling, kayaking, and explore the area. Erta made sure we had everything we needed and helped make our stay very comfortable. Breakfast was great and convenient, perfect for starting the day early and enjoying all the Keys have to offer. Highly recommend!

Right off the main drag and down a little was this cozy motel with nicely appointed rooms, a heated pool, tiki hut, and a scrap of beach that framed one of the most gorgeous sunsets I have ever seen. We'll be back!

Had a great stay for one night with some friends, Erta at the front desk was super helpful! Very reasonable rates as well, and beach was great.
