Categories

Cleanliness
5
Multiple reviews report serious cleanliness problems (blood, dirty towels, stains, strong smoke/weed smell, bugs) while a few guests described rooms as only 'adequately clean' — overall mixed-to-poor cleanliness.
Service
8.5
Several guests noted kind and friendly employees and easy parking/checkout interactions, though there are also reports of unhelpful staff and unresolved refund promises; overall a generally helpful front-desk presence with some notable failures.
Location
10
Frequently praised: convenient for commuting, close to attractions and restaurants, and parking was described as easy — location is a clear strength.
Room Quality
5.5
Rooms have the essentials but many issues were reported (beds caving, odd toilet placement, loose faucets, dusty surfaces, sticky/waxy floors, small fridges, nonfunctional patio locks) resulting in inconsistent room quality.
Amenities
9.5
Property offers a pool, hot tub, vending machines and ice machines across floors; however some guests noted the pool was often kept closed — amenities are plentiful but not always accessible.
Value for Money
5
Several guests felt the room rate was not justified given cleanliness and room issues, though location and basic provisions partly offset that — overall mediocre value.
Food and Beverage
6
Limited F&B: no consistent breakfast offering and reports of no hot coffee; little positive F&B commentary beyond lack/absence of service.
Overall Experience
6.5
Mixed overall: some guests found the stay adequate and staff friendly while others experienced severe cleanliness and refund issues; aggregated sentiment is below target but tempered by useful location and amenities.

Hotel is not worth the price for what you get.
Pros:

Location is about all.

Cons:

Carpets are dirty, hallways smell of marijuana. They have a pool and signs posted every saying pool is open with hours of operation but they keep it closed so guests cant use it.

Cons:

Very disappointing and disgusting. We paid $180 for a room, but when we arrived and checked in, we found blood everywhere. The room was filthy, smelled strongly of weed, and was in complete disarray. We immediately checked out and left the room. The staff told us they would refund our money, but they never did. Scammers. Completely unacceptable and a terrible experience.

A mediocre experience
Pros:

It has the essentials--bed, chair, shower, toilet, towels, sheets, coffee maker. It even has a pool, although I didn't use it.
It was adequately clean. My room didn't feel super clean, but I wasn't afraid of catching anything either.
I think the location was good for my purpose in visiting St. Louis.
Parking there was easy, and I never felt unsafe walking to and from my car.
The employees were kind and friendly.
There were vending machines on the ground floor and ice machines on several of the upper floors.

Cons:

I didn't dislike anything about my experience, exactly, I just didn't love my experience here.
When I arrived, I waited for several minutes for anyone to show up to the front desk, which happens sometimes, but he stopped helping me to help another guest when that guest walked up, which felt a little disrespectful. It wasn't a big deal, and I brushed it off, but it also stuck out in my mind.
Almost nothing is very well lit in the hotel. That's not a big deal, but as a woman staying alone, good lighting feels safer, especially in hallways and waiting areas (like around the elevators and vending machine).
My room didn't feel dirty, but it didn't exactly feel super clean either, maybe in part because of the lack of good lighting and stale air as I entered (they didn't have the aircon running when I came in), although the bathroom floors felt very waxy, almost to the point of feeling sticky, which was not a good sensory experience.
