Forest Park Hotel by MDR

The location was excellent, easy access to museums, dining, and parks. The hotel is old like me and shows its age like me. The website didn't mention they had a pool but it exists. It did mention a Keurig in the room that didn't exist. The staff claimed a discount (that doesn't exist) at the breakfast restaurant (that is excellent).

Love my stay here and it was clean. The staff were nice and polite and provided me with all I needed. The only thing I would say that could be better is the wifi. It didn’t reach far to room 509. If you guys can remove the free breakfast since you guys don’t offer this would help with booking. Otherwise then that, everything was great. Thank you for your service.

Overall the hotel is ok. The room and linen were clean. The hotel is older and could use some updating. The room service was non existent. I called down for face towels (because there was only 1 in our bathroom) and I was told that I could come down to get some. The next day, I called down for a plastic spoon and was told "they didn't have any". I have never been told that from a hotel staff before, to come get the items that you need and that should have been in the room to begin with.
There is no breakfast, not even fruit or breakfast bars. We will not stay here again.

The front desk staff was friendly checkin was quick. It was very clean all over. They have white linen and u could tell it was so fresh and very clean.

Good clean place to stay

The entire place is stinky. A mix between smoke, must, and occasionally weed. We asked to have our room clean twice- once at the front desk and another time directly to housekeepings face directly outside our room and it never happened. The rooms are outdated and look dirty even if they are cleaned. The entire place needs a refresh.

The bathroom tiles were not clean. The elevavor was slow, small and would close before people were out. I was first given a room that was already occupied.

Easy to find and a great neighborhood for Italian dining.

The customer service was excellent!
What I didn’t like about the hotel was there was no breakfast or coffee and in my room there was a microwave sitting on top of the refrigerator, but there was no outlet to plug in the microwave. This was very inconvenient because we had to go across the street to the gas station to warm our food.

Staff is sublime! Cheerful and helpful. Coffeemaker in room did not work and was quickly replaced. Urban setting on edge of The Hill. I will stay here again.

Has a balcony staff is very nice.

Neighborhood is iffy. Place us well taken care of but occupants are a bit loud.

It was one of the shadiest places I have ever seen. Definitely not staying here again. It is next to an Urgent Care and a group of addicts were hanging outside.

I know it’s nothing the staff could do but the amount of motorcycles staying at the hotel behind us was insane and LOUD. The room we had has not toilet roll holder. The sliding glass door to balcony didn’t lock which I think led into the noise level. You see light through the doors. The fridge was noisy too. My kiddo lost a game console in the room and they front staff wouldn’t even go check the couch for me. He was very rude (had a foreign accent) when I called again he would not answer.

The location was great easy highway access. Free parking. Staff very friendly great customer service. Room clean and has fridge and microwave. Would stay again.

The first thing is that this hotel is an extended stay which is not mentioned on the app. The bathroom had rust around the pipes of the toilet, the vent in the bathroom is non existent. There was at least two kids next door kicking and banging through out the evening. I choose to pay at the facility and my card was fully charged prior to checking out
