Room temperature was very cold heater not working
we got a small plug in heater but not enough to heat big room.
Had to sleep in clothes. Could not get hot water hot enough for a shower.

Perfect Break
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, room perfect with loch view, the food in the restaurant was delicious, great ambiance. Special thanks to James who served us tonight, he was friendly polite and helpful. A credit to the company!

I’ll be back as soon as possible!
Pros:

I’ve stayed in a few hotels around Argyll, but this is hands down the best, by a country mile!! The customer service in here is absolutely above and beyond. I came last Thursday and I’m here again tonight, and everytime I come back to the area, I’ll be staying here.

The staff, as I say, are absolutely fantastic - I ate in the restaurant on Thursday, ordering a Diet Coke with my meal, I came back today and the first thing I was asked was ‘Diet Coke’? It’s the little things that make a big difference! Both of the guys in the restaurant serving have great patter, and the environment is really friendly and vibrant yet relaxed. The music is great too!!

The food has been absolutely different class. Both times I got the chicken bites for starter, really tasty and piping hot, on Thursday I got a chicken burger for main and tonight got a bbq chicken pizza, which again, was incredible.

The rooms are lovely, very clean, and have plenty of goodies - a bag of popcorn and a couple of walkers biscuits as well as the usual teas and coffees.

The check in and out process is really quick, and again, with excellent customer service.

Overnight stay
Pros:

It was very clean, and had lovely views of the Loch.

Cons:

It badly needs a bit of an update, very tired looking although it was very clean. I thought it was very expensive for such a tired hotel. I was expecting something much better.

Pros:

Wie gewohnt sehr freundlicher Empfang, einfaches und schnelles ein- und aus- checken; mittlerweile für mich als Kaffee Nerd sensationell: zum guten und üppigen Frühstück gibt’s sehr guten Kaffee Self Service aus einer Jura Maschine.

Cons:

Das Wetter - für Inveraray etwas kühl.. im Ernst, für dieses Preis - Leistungsverhältnis kann man nichts negatives finden..

Very dissatisfied.
Cons:

We were woken at 5am to dance music playing very loud outside our bedroom window. I phoned reception and the night manager didn’t know how to turn it off. We didn’t get back to sleep. We had a 6 1/2 hour journey from Yorkshire.
We are very disappointed as it ruined our stay. I would like a full refund. £185 is very expensive for a very low budget hotel.

Comfortable stay in a prime location on Loch Fyne
Pros:

Good location. Smallish rooms no lift so not suitable for those with mobility issues. Other good hostelries and restaurants within walking distance

Cons:

Very limited parking at Hotel so we had to use paid for public parking
