Very relaxed and great service

Location is stunning. Food was very good. Lady on reception desk was very helpful. Bathroom was spacious.
Service from staff in the bar and on food was really poor - some had no idea what they were doing. Room was small, especially for the high price.
The view from the window was nice
The lack of parking and the distance to walk also lack of security of leaving your vehicle so far away in pouring torrents of rain, let’s just say I wouldn’t have walked back to the car if I’d forgotten my toothbrush and they had the cheek to ask for my car registration. Lol
Overall nice hotel, cozy rooms and great location.
I chose specifically this hotel as it indicated parking spaces available. However, there were none, and we had to park in a car park nearby.
Great stopover!
Myself and friends have stayed on numerous occasions over the last 7 years and always been able to park our motorcycles out the way in the courtyard and never had any issues before. This is one of the main reasons why we used this hotel on so many occasions because the bikes are out of sight. However, on this occasion the receptionist was very abrupt towards us and insisted that we had to move the bikes even though there were clearly 5 other touring bikes parked there and customers are not supposed to park in the courtyard she also said the bikes that were parked were staff bikes even though 3 of them were from our group that got there earlier than us. It was very frustrating and seriously put into questions whether we stay there again and we spend about £800 on accommodation and would probably would of spent about 400 to 500 on food and drink however on this occasion we decided to take the money we would of spent on food and drink to another establishment.

We had a large, comfortable and well equipped bedroom which was decorated to a high standard as was the Ensuite Bathroom.
Lunch in the Bar was really good and tasty and the breakfast was delicious..
