For the price paid, I would NOT recommend the hotel
Pros:

The buffet in the restaurant was ok at best. For a heritage property the buffet food selection was limited and the croissant and pastry selection was poor!

Cons:

While the staff was sincere they were very unprepared to manage guest check-in for the wedding we attended. Considering the hotel had received the guest list for approximately 45 rooms months in advance the check-in process was chaotic and mismanaged with our rooms not being ready on time and checked-in incorrectly.

A Horrible Start Remedied Halfway Through
Pros:

NOTE: This is a re-write of a previous post which I deleted as TripAdvisor doesn't allow edits. I have re-written it, and increased my rating from a 1-star to a 3-star, based on positive actions eventually taken by hotel staff

This started off as the worst service experience I have EVER had at a Marriott Bonvoy brand hotel. We, including my two young children did NOT sleep well at all the first two nights during this stay due to noise FROM THE HOTEL. We were, incorrectly, placed in a room that was inappropriate for young children.

We booked this hotel in February 2025, and did so over the phone. The reason was to ensure we could get connecting rooms appropriate for our family of 4 (with 2 young kids). When booking over the phone, they said to email the hotel again within a week of our arrival. So, I emailed them 2-weeks before and received a very non-commital reply. I replied indicating how important this was to our stay; the hotel did not feel it necessary to respond. So I emailed again, 1-week prior to our stay ... again the hotel did not feel it necessary to respond ... how kind.

We arrived for our stay to find that they hotel not only had NOT given us the connecting rooms, but had put us in two rooms on DIFFERENT levels. Fortunately, Michele ( a very kind representative of the hotel) did her best to help us. Unfortunately, the only connecting rooms left were handicap accessible rooms with showers that are not designed for young children (no tub or shower separator; alarms throughout that my 7-year old thinks is funny to pull; toilets that are too high) AND which are located immediately next to the hotel's outdoor restaurant/bar, where they have live music every night until midnight. Needless to say, our kids can't fall asleep at night (and neither can we). The sound of the bartender shaking/mixing drinks was so loud, it's as if he was in the room with us!

We did try resolving this with the hotel. Michele did her best, but had to pull in her supervisor, Julia. Unfortunately, Julia wasn't really in the mood to truly help resolve the situation. She repeated that all other connecting rooms were assigned to others (despite my contacting the hotel three times well before the stay), and they could only move us to smaller rooms (below what we paid for) on separate floors. She offered no solutions and instead asked me how she could make it right. So I did the job of the hotel and offered solutions. First I asked if we could be moved to a larger room or suite, combining our two rooms into one larger one. She said no larger rooms were available. Second I asked if we could wait 1-2 nights and then be moved to a better, more appropriate room. She said that she could move us for our first night to a room that would meet our needs, but that she would have to move us again after that night due to someone else's booking (I'm glad at least someone is getting what they requested). Finally I suggested an offering of Marriott points, trying to show some level of understanding for the apparent lack of space in the hotel. She asked "how many points would help resolve this for you?" Not being in the hotel industry, I suggested 100,000 (for a 5 night stay where our needs are not met). She scoffed and said she could not give that to us since we "asked for an adjoining room and got one." I tried, kindly, to point out that yes, on paper, the room was adjoining. However, we had also indicated young children would be staying there, and that these rooms were NOT appropriate for young children due to all of the reasons stated earlier in this review. She stayed silent for a minute, and then offered 10,000 points ... which is the lowest possible amount Marriott tends to offer. It's what they offer when the A/C unit makes too much noise in your room one a 1-night stay.

Only after my family and I sat awake for the second night in a row, because Julia put us in connecting rooms ... where noise flows from the outdoor bar, from carts filled with glass being pushed right outside our windows on the 1st floor, where my wfe has slipped due to water pouring from the shower onto the rest of the bathroom floor, where there are cracks in the wall, where the closet light doesn't turn off and shines light into the bedroom, where the room remains freezing even when we up the temperature to 23 C (73.4 F), where the hallway smells of something like mold and cigarettes mixed...only after we complained about this for the 2nd night in a row (and after I posted the initial 1-star review) did the Renaissance Paris Nobel Tour Eiffel realize that they gave us the worst possible adjoining rooms for young children to be in.

Fortunately, on day 3 two other managers, Charles and Coraline, stepped up and provided a resolution. They found us adjoining rooms on a higher level (likely due to someone checking out), which were more along the lines for what we had paid, and which were not subject to as much loud noise from bartending and music until 1 am each morning.

They moved us on day 3, with the help of Romain, a very kind representative of the team who was our POC the rest of the visit, and gave us some nice juices, snow globes (for the kids) and chocolates in our new room as well. Fortunately, the rest of the visit was mostly nice and uneventful. If it wasn't for the absolutely awful start to this visit, I'd have considered giving it 4 or 4.5-stars.

The location is wonderful, and the breakfast is solid.

A beautiful gem amidst the bustle of Paris.
Pros:

What an amazing gem within this bustling city. Located in a very quiet neighborhood. 10 min walk to Eiffle Tower and 20 to the Arc de Triumphe. From Julia in the front desk, who was so gracious, accommodating and even went out of her way to escort my parents to their rooms, and gave a complimentary birthday treat for my dad and all of us at the hotel bar. The room was big for a parisian room, and was able to get a rollaway cot for my daughter for another 100 euro. They have Tokyo milk bath products and complimentary water. They also had a lift that accommodated 4 people, which is another plus for a Parisian hotel. The AC worked in the room and we had a beautiful garden view, that we can open the windows.
The breakfast was awesome with Stephane and Amit catering to us and making sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was 2 choices of buffet style or for another 12 euros, you get a choice of an omelet. Otherwise, my stay was amazing and the bed was comfy and the service was impeccable. Even though this was an impromptu trip d/t a flight cancelation and brought us for 24 hrs to Paris, this stay was a wonderful surprise to a stressful time. Merci beau coup Renaissance Nobel for the great service, especially Julia, Stephane and Amit.

Our first Paris trip
Pros:

We had high hopes for our stay at the Renaissance Paris Nobel Tour Eiffel, especially being our first trip to Pairs as Marriott elite members traveling as a family. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations.

Despite writing in twice well in advance to request adjacent rooms on a higher floor, we were allocated two rooms on the first floor—at opposite ends of the corridor. This was disappointing and logistically frustrating as we were traveling with our children. And of cos, no good city or Eiffel views!

The rooms themselves were inconsistent. Although they were supposedly the same category, one room was significantly smaller and lacked a heating element in the bathroom.m. The other had bathroom heating but had a stale carpet smell.

To make things worse, there’s no room service at night, and when we requested fresh towels in the evening, we were asked to collect them from the front desk—a move that felt more akin to a 1-star motel than a 4- or 5-star property. It was also disappointing that our elite status was not acknowledged in any meaningful way during the stay.

At check-in, we were escorted to our rooms by a staff member who knew one of the room keys wasn’t working—but rather than resolving it, he simply handed the non-working key to us. We had to return to the front desk to activate it ourselves.

A special mention goes to Kumar, who kindly arranged for a portable heater in the colder room—his efforts were sincerely appreciated.

The concierge staff were a bright spot—friendly, helpful, and ready to assist whenever approached.

Breakfast was decent—buffet style with cooked-to-order eggs. That said, service was again lackluster: one waiter asked for my drink order while I was mid-way through the buffet, not even allowing me to return to the table.

Late check-out at 4pm was granted, which was appreciated, but overall, the lack of warmth, inconsistency in rooms, and poor handling of basic service requests made our stay feel underwhelming and not at all reflective of the Renaissance or Marriott brand.

Would I return? Sadly, unlikely, even though the location was great! :(
There are better and cheaper hotels in the same vicinity.

A week stay in Paris
Pros:

When you think Marriott you might think high rise building but this hotel is a neighborhood gem. Located close to the Tower and two metro stations it was great for getting around. Less noise than other parts of the city.
The rooms were nice but could use some better lighting. Not very large. The bathrooms were aged but I'm seeing from other photos that not every room is the same. The suites looked nicer than what we had. A good portion of the hotel looks ready for another update. The onsite breakfast was good for a simple buffet. The adjacent garden was nice in the mornings to eat in.
The staff gets all the high marks. The lobby staff every day was cheerful and welcoming. The door team was always fast with luggage and getting taxis even switching us on our last day to a larger vehicle due to our luggage.
Gael and the concierges always had good options and recommendations on where to eat. The lounge is a small place with just a few chairs but the bar staff kept everyone in good spirits. Matilde was so kind making special teas for my wife and Emma was a chemist with her new drinks. So many people made for a great stay. I've forgotten more names as they all were very attentive and kind.

"WONDERFUL"
Pros:

I enjoyed our stay at this hotel for our friend's birthday celebrations. The concierge and front desk staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was excellent. The breakfast was superb, with a wide variety of food options to choose from.

We stayed in Room 10, which is very spacious. We had a large bed, a sofa, occasional chairs, a massive bath, an excellent walk-in shower, and a dressing area. We also had a mini fridge and a coffee and hot water machine with a well-stocked hostess tray. The housekeeping staff were professional and terrific, providing us with an orderly and spotlessly clean room from our arrival until the end of our 3-night stay.

The location is excellent, as it is walkable to the Eiffel Tower and Champs-Élysées. The street is very nice and the area around the hotel has plenty of brasseries and cafes.

I would highly recommend this hotel, and I would like to thank all the staff for making my stay in Paris a truly fantastic experience.

Lovely stay in the Magnolia Suite .
Pros:

Lovely hotel in a great location.
I stayed in the beautiful Magnolia Suite . The weather was perfect . So sitting on the balcony overlooking the garden was very nice . The room was immaculate with a beautiful bathroom and hallway.
Very quiet hotel split into 4 buildings.
Breakfast was European in its offering .
So not the biggest choice.
Again nice to be able to sit out in the garden/courtyard.
There are a number of very nice restaurants nearby .
Small gym on the ground floor .
Very central .
Will definitely stay again.

magical stay in Paris
Pros:

4 of us checked to enjoy a couple of nights before a river cruise. 2 of us stayed here 14 years ago just after it opened.
Before our visit, we had a very helpful pre-communication by email. Coralie provided an excellent check in experience and invited us to the lounge for a beverage and to relax while waiting for then second couple. We gained some wonderful insights from Iéa at concierge. She helped us find the restaurant Ozio which was able to accommodate gluten free needs. Stephane in the restaurant immediately helped me to gather some gluten free bread for my sister to have on her arrival. He was also very gracious and helpful to guide her choices and work the chef to help her make safe choices. All of us were very grateful for his professionalism and his work in the dining room. When our room was ready, Cristelle, gave us a lovely escort to our room with congratulations on our anniversary. We were to feel special and appreciated as long term Marriott customers. Kumar, in Guest Relations was also a very pleasant and helpful part of the entire stay, including helping with breakfast room communications. The bellmen were amazing and efficient. I am sorry that their names have escaped me but their eyes were always on the guests and their needs for uber, luggage, etc. We completely recommend this hotel. It is located in a lovely residential area away from the hustle and bustle but walkable to the Eiffel Tower and to two Metro stops.

Stay somewhere else
Pros:

The location is fantastic, the hotel staff are mediocre & pretentious, the hotel itself is sad and the breakfast is the worst I’ve ever experienced in all of Europe (so bad that I would not go a second time, even though it was free as a Titanium Lifetime Elite member). I’m sad for how much this formerly beautiful hotel has gone down hill over the last decade.

Experience Paris like a local !
Pros:

Hotel located in nice area, gorgeous court yard and bar area. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious. Comfortable beds and great customer service. A variety of bistro, cafe and restaurants within walking distance. Greeted by hotel staff and a cocktail on arrival. Excellent morning buffet was filled with French pastry heaven of croissants, breads, bacon, eggs, potatoes, fruit, yogurt, cheese, meat, oatmeal, coffee/tea. Scored this as a four instead of a 5 because I thought the location was closer to the effort tower.
