Cons:

Parking garage was not great. While they told us our beds wouldn’t be changed with multiple day stay, it also wasn’t tidied up or beds made.

Fantastic breakfast
Pros:

Hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood with a good Italian restaurant across the street. Our king room was large and nicely furnished. Fantastic breakfast included. Owen at the front desk was particularly helpful. The parking situation is strange; garage is located on a parallel street to the hotel entrance but has direct access.

I was skeptical but had a good stay
Pros:

Having never tried this more budget friendly hotel I was worried. However the location to balboa park (an easy uphill walk) and to little Italy for food, plus a decent restaurant across the road has made a convert of me! Plus in the basement they serve a free and pretty good breakfast. Hot water and good tea bags, decent oatmeal. 2% and almond milk options. Rye bread and (not so great) peanut butter. Orange juice…. I was happy. Plus it was very inexpensive- the cheapest of three hotels I tried. I’d chose it again. Be aware that you could get noisy neighbors since there are families with kids enjoying the connected rooms and large 2-queen bed space. My neighbor was a business guy and I did hear his 10:00-11:00 pm conversation through my earplugs. Fortunately after that all was very quiet and I slept well. My IHG room preference was not observed (far away from elevators or ice) but mine was the last room they had so change was not possible. Nice friendly front desk staff.

I'LL RETURN SOME DAY.
Pros:

I appreciated the hotel's location, close to Balboa Park, the available (expensive) parking, the excellent breakfast items, the room decor plus microwave and refrigerator, and friendly staff.

Cons:

Before arrival I would have appreciated into as to how to enter the building...what street to get to lobby and where to enter parking. I requested an invoice and had to email the request too.No INVOICE!
