It was a lovely first trip to this hotel. The staff were so accommodating and sweet. Will be back.

Nice size rooms, comfortable bed, great buffet and great parking.
Pros:

Super comfortable bed. Enjoyed being on a lower floor, and my dog loved the balcony. It was really a convenient spot to stay, as it was a block away from all my work meetings. Being able to use the printer/copier was helpful as well. For the most part, the staff was awesome.

Cons:

It could have been cleaner. There was a thick layer of dust throughout the room, and I asked the front desk to send someone in to clean, which they did. The only other concern was the Banquet manager. I was eating breakfast, and throughout my entire meal, he was in and out, slamming and banging, and not once did I see him use gloves for food handling.

We won’t be back to this location…ever!
Pros:

Good shower & shower products. And the bed was comfortable. The front desk girl who checked us in (from Ukraine we found out after we asked about her accent) was friendly, helpful, and well informed.

Cons:

We were charged $20 for breakfast and $20 for parking. Everywhere else we stayed on this trip cost less and breakfast was included…as was parking. The TV had numerous options on the screen, however all but the basic channels required personally logging in or signing up to a streaming service. In a hotel chain of this caliber, that seemed ridiculous! Starbucks in the lobby didn’t allow us to use our Starbucks app. Also only 1 bathrobe was provided in our room. And if you can believe it, only 1 USB and USB-C charging port were found in the room. We’ve stayed in Hilton Hotels on previous occasions and have always been delighted, which is why we chose to stay here. This location for the price, was very disappointing as we very much expect more as a Hilton!

It worked for what we needed, but not worth the price.
Pros:

The staff was nice.

Cons:

- parking is $20 a night (doesn’t matter if it’s outdoor parking or parkade)
- when we went to park in the parkade, we saw a worker manually pulling a chain to open the gate and let a customer out of the parkade.
- on their facebook, the promoted free parking and a $25 gas card per night, but when I asked about it they said “your rate doesn’t include that” and because I booked through a third party (booking.com)
- the parkade roof is very low. we drive a medium size SUV (hyundai tucson) and had very little clearance. when we opened the trunk to get our bags out, the trunk hit the roof.
- water bottles are $3 in the room or they have glass cups; however, one of our glasses was dirty, so we opted for the paper coffee cups.
- our toilet wasn’t flushing or filling properly, so we called the front desk. they sent someone to come check it out. the man said, “looks like it’s working,” and left. about half hour later, i used the washroom and it wouldn’t flush again as the tank wasn’t filling. tried calling the front desk and they didn’t answer.
- the location isn’t great, but that’s on me for not checking beforehand.
