The Evelyn Hotel

My wife and I stayed at The Evelyn in February as a surprise for my wife. After booking, I contacted the hotel and advised this was a surprise which they helped by putting a complimentary bottle and treats in our room. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location of the Elvelyn is great for getting around New York. Close enough to walk to the best locations. All the staff were very attentive and helpful which made our trip even more special. If we return to New York we will definetly stay again. Thank you for making this a special trip.

I booked a stay at The Evelyn for work and called to extend an extra night after my work concluded. The manager, Noah, was incredibly helpful over the phone, and welcomed me when I checked in as well! The room was clean, very comfortable, and just beautiful. The amenities were great (free wine at happy hour, breakfast at the coffee shop downstairs). And it was such a great central location. I would absolutely recommend The Evelyn to anyone. The rooms were decent and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was great. I also felt the room was clean and well isolated from street noise.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Evelyn - a real home away from home. The location is great, the staff kind and helpful, the rooms comfortable, breakfast so appreciated and a relaxing night cap in the bar after a busy day in the city - what more could you ask for! We are three generations - grandmother, mother and daughter and each of us had the same lovely experience. Thank you!

Great stay at the Evelyn. Very cool boutique style hotel, loved the heated bathroom floors. Also really enjoyed the wine tasting hour, Peter was super friendly and gave lots of tips on what to see around city. Definitely would come back!

I liked the hotel style, even though the room was quite small but it was modern and quiet. I also liked the concept of the breakfast and the location of the was also very good.

Firs of all the staff of the hotel are absolutely wonderful. The are really responsive and helpful in any way.
The location is superb, the rooms are well equipped and well managed.

We stayed here for 10nights and had a wonderful experience.

Few key items:
- Location is fantastic. Walkable to Time Square, Empire State Building and Flatiron Building to name a few.
- Accessibility is perfect. The hotel is situated between two subway lines which is very useful for getting around and exploring.
- The free grab and go breakfast service is wonderful. Coffee and a variety of food options are available.
- Beautiful art deco style hotel.
- Very friendly and helpful staff.

I had a great stay recently with my husband at The Evelyn Hotel in New York. The location is ideal - easy access to transit, restaurants, and plenty to do within walking distance. The design gives the hotel character without feeling overdone, and the rooms are comfortable, clean, and well laid out. It’s a solid choice if you want something that feels boutique but still practical.

What stood out most was the service, particularly from Keyanie at the front desk. She was friendly, efficient, and genuinely helpful and went the extra mile for us which was much appreciated. Check-in was smooth, and she took the time to answer questions and offer useful recommendations. Throughout the stay she was professional and approachable.

Good service makes a difference, and Keyanie’s service helped make the experience and stay memorable. It’s clear she takes pride in her work, and it shows. Staff like Keyanie are a big part of what makes a hotel feel reliable and well run.

Your location was good for where we needed to be.

Excellent location. A lot of walkable sights nearby within a 30min trek, or a close subway stop. The grab and go breakfast was surprisingly good. Staff were always really friendly.
