El hotel está en el centro de la ciudad, muy cerca de la plaza San Marco
El desayuno estaba bien, habia una buena variedad de embutidos, fruta, cereales, yogur, etc.
La habitación que nos dieron daba a un canal por el que pasaban gondolas y en las gondolas a veces habia un cantante, era muy auténtico.
La habitación era muy anticuada, tenia moqueta, aunque en general estaba limpia, las instalaciones estaban muy anticuadas, por las tardes, cuando volviamos olia un poco a humedad, teniamos que abrir la ventana para que se ventilara
La habitación era estrecha.
Faltaba algo de ensalada en el desayuno, tomate, un poco más de vegetales
La calefaccion estaba siempre puesta y por las noches pasabamos calor.

Me and my partner went to venice for my 30th i can’t fault the hotel from the staff to the rooms. we welcomed by the nicest staff who were more than happy to help. We were taken to our room which was very clean and just like what was shown on the pictures. When we arrived we asked if they had any recommendations for food they directed us to a restaurant called vino vino who have the friendliest staff and the best food we had our whole holiday. if your looking for a place to stay definitely book this hotel.
A beautiful hotel near the Opera House, Hotel Kette is quaint. Our room on the canal was perfectly size and decorated. The shower is NOT American, so be reasonable and respectful. Otherwise, this hotel is perfectly positioned between expensive boutique and Venetian solitude, in luxury, price, and location.

I don’t know why this hotel gets 4 stars, there’s no bar or dinner service, no business facility, pool, spa or gym. No extras in the rooms such as toiletries or dressing gowns. The bath plug doesn’t fit the plug hole making baths impossible and the shower over the bath has no door or curtain meaning the room gets sprayed.
A very basic continental breakfast is served in the pokey restaurant.
The juice is powdered and there’s little choice of food available. Do BEWARE of eating the boiled eggs, they are actually left in the dining room between breakfasts, never refrigerated, creating a risk of salmonella or other bacteria developing.
The room cleaning service moved our personal items around leaving glasses lens down on surfaces and contact lens cases upside down so the fluid drained out. For some reason the bars of soap were disposed of daily and we were left new packages, such a waste!
The service from staff in reception is poor, robots could well be more welcoming. During our initial check in the two staff members talked loudly to each other almost completely blanking us. During the rest of our 5 day stay we were generally ignored by staff working on reception.
