The Venetian feeling! Such a charming place. Love the location easy to walk to the boat station that takes you to the airport, the breakfast and how pretty it is!

Mosquitoes
We stayed at the Kette two years ago and had a great experience. The room was beautiful and clean and the breakfasts were excellent. This visit we had three rooms for three nights. We were on the first floor and the rooms smelled horrible. The carpet was stained and there was mold in the wall. The smell was so bad we had to change room the next morning. The breakfasts were dismal. Few selections and very basic. Not what was presented on our first stay. The second day it was announced by the train company that a national train strike would occur on our last day that would have prevented a timely return to Zurich to catch a return flight. We had to cancel the last night. Given these events out of our control and the condition of our room the first night, we would have thought the hotel would given consideration to not charging us for the last nights canceled stay ($1,000). But we received no such consideration, and no credit was given, and we were charged the full amount. The staff was pleasant but the hotel facilities seemed run down, not the four star it advertised itself as being. On our first stay we loved this hotel. The second stay was very disappointing. We cannot recommend this hotel.
Skvělá poloha. Par min od náměstí sv Marka. Čista fajn ulice, za rohem 10m hned příjemná restaurace, moc milý personál. Poměr cena kvalita OK.
Velmi základní snídaně. Bez zeleniny. Každý den to stejne , stejne 2 druhy housky i stejna buchta. Ale to, co tam bylo- bylo chutne .. negativně hodnotím postele. Měli jsme 3luzak. Ale to jedno lůžko byl jakysi gaucik. Postele nejsou plnohodnotné- ale takove vojenské rozkládacky. Ale matrace slušné.

Staff services and not being able to get anything except the taxi.
Fantastic location - close to San Marco's Square, La Fenice Opera House and luxury shopping street. Our water taxi could come right up to hotel to take us anywhere. Staff were very helpful and friendly!
Breakfast buffet was decent but not exceptional. Limited egg offerings (hardboiled only) and no bacon/sausage.

Kuddarna
Great location in Venice with their own dock for water taxi to dock so we didn’t have to haul suitcases down streets. Nice view from room to narrow canal below. Staff was very helpful, even escorting us to a nearby restaurant and another dock we needed to find. Not far from St. Mark’s Square but not in the thick of things there, Room was comfortable.
