Pros:

For a 2-star hotel, the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Middletown-Goshen was totally giving 3-star hotel vibes! The rooms were comfortable, the lobby looked new, and honestly, the entire property felt like it had been recently renovated or was fairly new.

The location was also very convenient, with plenty of food and shopping nearby, including Target, Walmart, a mall, several restaurants, and fast-food options. The price was good for what you get, and check-in and check-out were both quick and easy.

I didn't get a chance to use the pool, but the hotel does have an indoor pool. The breakfast was also good. It wasn't anything fancy, but it did the job and was a nice perk to have included with the stay.

There were a couple of things that weren't ideal. One morning, the fire alarm went off around 6 AM, and everyone had to evacuate the hotel for about 45–50 minutes before we were allowed back into our rooms. Unfortunately, nothing was offered for the inconvenience, such as a credit or other compensation.

Also, on the morning of check-out, I had indicated that I would be checking out at 11 AM, but housekeeping knocked on my door around 10 AM. Not a huge deal, but definitely something that could have been avoided.

Overall, though, I would definitely stay here again. I saw a lot of families staying at the hotel, and I think it's a particularly good option for families because of the comfortable rooms, breakfast, location, and pool.

For the price, this hotel definitely exceeded my expectations, and I'd happily come back!

It was clean and the staff was friendly.

Cons:

The breakfast was a little disappointing. In terms of fruit, they only had old oranges. Apples and bananas would be easy and fairly inexpensive to add to the breakfast.

The staff at the hotel made the stay most enjoyable!
Pros:

The breakfast was fine! It had a nice variety of food to choose from. The greatest part of the stay was the exceptional staff! I had a very positive experience with Anthony when I had to change my reservation due to illness. In spite of me using Booking.com, he handled it without hesitation. He was also exceptionally nice when we arrived! The next encounter was with Efrain. He was exceptionally nice as well. He went out of his way to accommodate me. He went out of his way to accompany me when I had a problem with the key. He made sure I was able to get into my room. He also helped me with parking. Both these men were extremely friendly, awesome, and most importantly, welcoming! Truthfully, I have stayed in a multitude of hotels, and these two Gentlemen, in my humble opinion, were outstanding, and have earned all the praise and accolades. I would definitely go back to this LaQuinta hotel.

Cons:

I didn't like that the lights went off when i was showering. The track by the shower doors could have been cleaner.

Best stays we've had.
Pros:

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was very clean and breakfast buffet was excellent. Stayed with my fiancee and 2 kids great size room for us.

Cons:

The pool was toooo cold. But still liked it.

I would stay there again, well worth the value.
Pros:

The room was spacious and very clean. The climate control system as right on and quiet as possible. The TV was high quality and quide was easy to follow. The WIFI signal was strong with no lapses. The breakfast area was very clean and had a great variety to choose from.

Cons:

The wait for hot water took awhile but not a major problem.

There is no gluten free breakfast, I requested front desk and kitchen for the Banana or apple for my son and they said they don’t have it , Coffee was done and they didn’t refill
