Road noise sucked. Be careful with room location. Staff was great. Willing to help move us.

Cons:

Right next to the highway off ramp. Enjoy the jake brakes from the semi trucks.

Best hospitality
Pros:

Can't say enough good things about the people at Fireside Inn. They all went above and beyond what is to be expected. Waterville and Augusta have a lot to be desired when it comes to public transportation (for example the only rental car service at the Augusta Airport is closed on Saturday and Sunday ... and the last flight out on Saturday was cancelled due to difficulties at Logan Airport Boston which resulted in a major headache trying to catch the last flight out to DC - and Uber and taxis pretty much non-existent in Waterville). Eric, the general manager at Fireside, made sure we got to where we needed to be, even driving us himself. Fireside is going through major renovations and when they are completed it will be, in my opinion, the best place to stay in Waterville. I look forward to my return there.

Very clean and comfortable, with easy access to the restaurant.
Pros:

Great location and surprisingly quiet in spite of being just off the highway.

Cons:

Bathroom beginning to show some wear, but everything very clean.

Always a pleasure
Pros:

As frequent guests we are constantly impressed by the continual upgrades both inside and out . A very clean, comfortable and friendly place to take a break at. During this month's multiple trips we had some small issues on our end. Eric, Julia and the awesome staff that works here took care of it quickly and professionally. The customer service provided at the Fireside is top notch and is the reason we continually are frequent guests. A big thank you to Eric and the staff again.

the room was fantastic laid out very well...clean modern very attractive and it had ALL the amenities kerig coffee et al....and it was 3 miles closer to my work and 65 bucks cheaper !!!!!!

Very satisfied and will be back.
Pros:

The room was comfortable and clean. The rates are reasonable.

Cons:

The bathroom was a little awkward. There were safety bars in the shower, which was perfect, but stepping over the tub was difficult. A tub cut out would have been much easier. The toilet was also extremely low.
