Courtyard by Marriott San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf

Newly renovated property. Sparkling and up to date and super clean. Staff hospitality is pleasantly warm and demonstrated outstanding customer service. Gym equipped with brand new equipment. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Great location, close to everything.

Staff were all lovely. Yes the hotel is being renovated, but it was quiet and comfortable

Our room was recently updated and it was comfortable and VERY quiet!

Breakfast was pretty good in the little cafe.

I loved being on the 2nd floor near the laundry. So convenient! Uses your credit card, $5 was and $5 for a 60 minute dry

Fitness center was also on the 2nd floor and had a lot of equipment

The liquor store next door is a HUGE ripoff. So don’t even think about going there

The Sixt across the street is open from 10 -3 daily and offers vehicles for $25 a day. Very easy process.

Great location right in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf and even if you're into all that tourist trap stuff it's a great starting point for long walks to the Golden Gate Bridge and other SF neighborhoods. Staff was very accomodating and friendly and helpful with some suggestions.

Nice and clean rooms. Staff is nice. Being member you get option for $20 food item. Courteous staff and everything is near by

My husband is a Lifetime Platinum Elite Marriott member, so we have visted A LOT of Marriotts. But, the Fisherman's Wharf Marriott Courtyard on Beach Street STANDS OUT for it's exceptional staff and customer centric choices. We stayed at this lovely hotel for almost 2 weeks (my brother, Marine Veteran and living with Brain Cancer, needed to come into San Francisco for surgery at THE OUTSTANDING UCSF Medical Center. Needless to say, we needed a good quiet room with 2 queen beds (as he needed post-surgery monitoring). Our wonderful experience started before check in. I called the hotel to let them know we needed to check in a little early (usually a no-go for most hotels) as my brother was exhausted from travel. JOSEPHINE went above and beyond...she got us a microwave in our room due to special dietary needs, she WENT OUT and bought my brother’s preferred soda and added lots of bottles of water, she put us in a lovely room on the fourth floor AWAY from the elevator (people can be talkative and noisy on the way to their rooms after a late night of bar hopping).. and CALLED us the minute our room was ready. ADRIANO checked us in, and he is ALSO a wonder...friendly, professional, and just MAJOR LEAGUE NICE.. whoever does the hiring fir this hotel, BRAVO AND KUDOS....you have chosen a fabulous staff. This is coming from someone who worked in the WALDORF ASTORIA in NYC for more than 25 years. Everyone I met was a keeper. After 2 weeks, they felt like family. I MUST also mention the made-to-order breakfasts. Evelin served me most days, and she was beyond attentive. This Marriott is a franchise, and thus has made the decision to provide made-to-order breakfasts instead of the usual self serve buffet. A VERY GOOD CHOICE...breakfast is ordered at the counter, then served to you at your table in a lovely little breakfast area on the 2nd floor. I have a particularly challenging diet..low fat, no sugar, my OWN keto friendly bread, etc....they accommodated me without question, but with a smile. Love this hotel...also LOVE the reasonable prices (for San Francisco) and location (a block away from the main drag at Fisherman's Wharf. The ONLY thing I didn't love was the all day, late into the night Speaker AMPLIFIED ANNOUNCEMENTS from the "In-And-OUT" burger joint around the corner. But, not an issue, as the minute I mentioned it to Josephine, she moved us to a quieter room on the 4th floor, but on the other side. Thank you to the incredible staff at The Fisherman's Wharf Marriott Courtyard hotel...you will see us again!

The hotel is kind of old, but is clean and very well located. Good fitness room for this kind of hotel. Daily housekeeping (wow!!!).
It is surrounded by lots of places of interest and has many services around (drugstores, convenience stores, public transportation, etc.)
The best is its staff. Very polite and service oriented.

For our first time in San Francisco, this hotel met our needs. I was a little disappointed that when we checked in, our attendant simply checked us in and gave us our room key, while the other receptionist provided more information on where those guests were location-wise, offered a map, and so on.

I would definitely stay here again! The location truly is impossible to beat if you’re going to be visiting the Pier 39, Fisherman’s Wharf, and Ghirardelli Square area. The hotel staff was very kind and welcoming when we arrived. The rooms were clean. I felt very safe walking in the area. The front door had staff there every time we came in, so I felt confident they knew who was coming and going.

Decided we wanted to be within walking distance to the wharf and this place really is.
Booked 2 rooms and one was able to get in earlier. Nice sized 2 queen room, with space in front of the closet. Bathroom large, with big counter. Requested a microwave which arrived very timely.
Hotel is really nice, hotel staff friendly and extremely helpful. Shout out to Sarah for area tips and directions.
The bus is right around the corner, bay and wharf about 1 block away.
Garage parking if you choose not to valet is right next door. It's not cheap but very convenient, we (women) walked different times of the day/night for out car and felt very safe.
Would so recommend this place for a long weekend or a base for area stuff.

Staff were possibly the best I’ve ever encountered in a hotel. They responded enthusiastically to our every request. They were both kind and efficient, with great senses of humor. Could not have been better.

Room was fine. Location was excellent.

We’ll come back here every time we return to San Francisco!

This is a little late but we have not forgotten the great service we received a couple of weeks ago from Sarah M. We received a warm welcome, efficient check-in and great information on the area, things to see / do, transportation options and recommendations, and dining suggestions and more. So grateful for the professional customer service from Sarah - this helps differentiate Marriott from others!
