В комнате нет тумбы для вещей.
И одна кровать сверху воняла мочёй,но все решилось очень быстро. Нам все поменяли. И не хватает крючков для полотенец в ванной комнате и вообще, нас было 5 и некуда было повесить полотенца
The room was spectacular and private. Id totally get that room again.
The property was modern more modern than last time we stayed there so I like that they’re doing
It was very loud the plumbing is horrendous. You can hear when your neighbour is taking a shower. The smell of marijuana was overwhelming.
Breakfast was better than some.
The tub was unsafe for showering as it had no grab bar, and you had to step over the rim of the tub to get in. Also very slippery, with no mat or decals to prevent slipping. Refrigerator was broken, but we called maintenance and they replaced it for us. No elevator, and rooms were on the second floor.
Our stay in Fredericton was disappointing overall, mainly due to cleanliness, maintenance issues, and the way our concerns were handled.
When we arrived, the first room we were given was not very clean. We brought this to the front desk’s attention and also mentioned concerns about the cleanliness of the facility. Unfortunately, we were simply apologized to and told that nothing could be done. Later, we discovered that the toilet in our room was not working. After someone came to inspect it, we were told it could not be fixed and that we would need to change rooms. Once we went downstairs to explain the situation, we were suddenly offered several room options.
What was most disappointing was that it seemed there were options available only once we had a maintenance issue that required us to move. Cleanliness should be taken seriously from the beginning, and guests should not have to experience additional problems before their concerns are properly addressed.
The second room was much cleaner, and we appreciated that. However, there were still maintenance issues in the bathroom, including a leak under the sink and a countertop that appeared to be coming loose from the wall and felt unstable. Given our initial experience and the lack of a reassuring response from the front desk, we decided not to raise these additional concerns.
We were also surprised to learn upon arrival that there was a $15-per-day pet fee. Although we had specifically selected a pet-friendly room, this charge was not something we noticed in the room description when booking. Additional fees should be clearly communicated upfront so guests can make an informed decision.
The one positive aspect of our stay was the breakfast. The lady working in the breakfast area was wonderful about keeping everything clean, fresh, and well-stocked. We genuinely appreciated her efforts and the care she put into her work.
The concept of an internal restaurant and mini resort is interesting but it was closed.
The motel was next to a busy road that was being repaired. The motel itself was being refurbished which was not made clear when booking. Although our room has been refurbished there were workmen in the rooms nearby and their mess was evident in the stairs etc.
The restaurant was closed and there was no alternative without driving.
Even if not being refurbished, there was nowhere within walking distance.
The toilet and tub were dirty. Hairs on the tub.
Hairdryer broken off wall.
Badly stained carpet in the room.
Pool looked dirty, visible ring around hot tub.
No coffee or water in lobby which is often standard at other places.
Not their fault but road construction out front made it more challenging.
The closeness in location to essentials
It was dirty, including but not limited to the bathroom in our room, the common area, and the pool were disgusting and had not been cleaned. The hot tub was also out of order which we were not told before our stay and that was one of the reasons for us choosing it.
Price
The amenities were cool! We were travelling a chose this hotel last minute. A true hidden gem ! Will definitely be back next year
The room and the breakfast was ok but the directions to the room was poor and it is a big complex.
