Pros:

Candice on the night shift was awesome. So friendly and helpful. When I arrived the rooms that I booked through a third party were not available. She went above and beyond to make it right.

Cons:

When I went to check out, the manager of the hotel was down there with the front desk lady and the manager was not friendly whatsoever. Did not even speak to me and when I said that the night shift girl Candace was great, the manager rolled her eyes at me and walked away. Apparently there needs to be more people in the world like Ms. Candace on the night shift because I was not impressed with the manager or the girl checking me out!

Travel to Georgia and stopped here on the way home in Florida

Great customer service from the time we checked in until we checked out. Everyone treated us like family.

Clean quiet hotel.

A Few Issues But Quickly and Professionally Resolved
Pros:

Even though I put early arrival ( 1 p.m.- 2 p.m.) on the app, when we arrived at 3:40, the room was not yet ready. Brittani apologized and said it would be ready by 4, but then she offered points so we waited in lobby until she said just before 4 that the room was ready. I didn't see the points on my account so just before 6:30 the next morning, I approached the lady at the front desk (didn't get name, but she must have been the overnight person). She said that I, as Diamond Elite, deserved more points than Brittani promised and gave me more. They all posted by the time I arrived home about noon so thanks to all!
I used points and booked King Suite since the amount required for all room types was the same! The bedroom air was broken and only blew recycled air but no cool air. It seemed to reset during the night but may have compressor issues? The living room unit worked fine but cool air didn't reach bedroom sufficiently. The sink and bathroom both in extra warm spots of room. The Living Room had a balcony with chair where one could sit and enjoy the cemetery view across street. (I'm being sarcastic about enjoying the view!) The room was dated but very clean. The bed provided a comfortable sleep. Ice was available near the elevator. Hotel mostly quiet except for young child next door in early evening, but no issues later. Breakfast was typical HIE with sausage, biscuits and sausage gravy, eggs, and more-the usual. We were 1st to arrive at opening, and I couldn't find sugar-free syrup. Attendant looked but couldn't find so he asked lady from front desk; she found box below and gave me 2, as requested. It's good not to put such out as children (and some adults) tend to waste since they don't really need! Didn't see or ask about sugar-free jelly but didn't need this time? Check-out was quick, and we were on our way south, heading home on the last day of our 6 day/5 night trip! Would definitely stay here again, especially since our favorite I-75 Georgia restaurant (Pit Stop) is a few miles away! Despite the few minor issues, everything was resolved quickly and professionally by well trained staff top notch in customer service!
