I feel exceptions in regards to check in should be considered for long haul flight residents and they should be allowed to check in earlier.
The location is perfect for access to everything. Your cleaner lucienne is a wonderful lady who is very accommodating, our room is spotless and our return everyday. She is a credit to park central hotel.
Meena is great- room 902 nice friendly all around a great experience. Room was clean. Fast service. Great trip for thanksgiving hope to do it again
We stayed at the Park Central Hotel from the 20th to the 23rd with a group of entrepreneurs, and honestly… wow. New York can be chaotic, but this place felt like someone had quietly switched on “easy mode.”
First, a huge shout-out to Joanna, who helped us organize the whole group stay. She understood exactly what we needed — no fuss, no confusion — and even arranged a thoughtful welcome touch when we arrived. That kind of attention sets the tone, and the tone was very good.
The front desk team was consistently helpful, always ready with an answer and a handful of spot-on tips for getting the best out of the city without falling into the usual tourist traps. And the doormen? Absolute legends. Carmelo, in particular, is a fantastic guy — the kind of person who makes you feel like you’ve known him for years, not three days.
The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, perfectly located, and surprisingly calm considering you're steps away from the madness of Midtown. For a group trip, it was perfect — smooth, friendly, and absolutely stress-free.
Would I come back? In a heartbeat. And I’d ask for the same team again. They made our stay feel effortless… which in New York is basically a superpower.
Our experience here has been very good! Glad we haven’t a great host Meena that is making sure our room is in great shape! We wouldn’t mind coming back again!
My family and I stayed for a long weekend Checking in November 20th through Monday November 24th. 2 of the 3 nights we stayed, we had to request maid service 2 of the nights as they never came. Checking out today I noticed a $565 fee which we called and found out was charged for smoking. Ironically nobody in my family smokes . Rather than taking off the charge they said we needed to dispute with the accounting team. Don’t stay at Park Central New York, terrible service and will call bank in the morning to have charge reversed
Great location, atmosphere and value. All rooms in NYC are small compared to those in the south, but the four of us managed to have a great experience.
The Park Central hotel has larger and more modern rooms than other option. Guest services has been very nice and helpful, especially Lucy J who’s help us more than once. We will definitely stay here again in the future!
Great hotel with great service and staff! My room was always made up and clean. Maritza did a great job and had a wonderful attitude!!! And a super location!

Just great hotel and quiet place to be
Very charming vacation due to the support and the help of Elizabeth. She was very cooperative manager
She solved all our problems and fullfil our requests. Room were clean and location very good.
A friend had stayed here before and recommended it, but we did not have a great experience. I don't know if we stayed in an older section of the hotel, but it our room was in desperate need of attention.
Pros:
*Lobby seemed upscale and always smelled nice
*Beds were decently comfortable
*Good room size for NYC
*Location is fantastic
*Appreciated being able to leave luggage on departure day
*Staff quickly arranged a car to the airport for us at a flat fee
*Overall felt safe
Cons:
*Our room smelled like cat pee, particularly by the door.
*Closet door was torn up near the handle and we both got splinters (doors were also splintered at the bottom but that was only aesthetic)
*Mold/mildew growing in all of the grout/caulk in the bathroom sink area
*Some pillows were so flat, we thought they were just a pillowcase
*No hand soap was in the room when we arrived, and none was ever replaced by cleaning staff
*Hunks of hair in the shower when we arrived, indicating the shower had not been cleaned
*Shower plug would not stay in an open position, so had to hold it open manually to get it to drain
*We were told they would bring a small refrigerator to our room. This didn't happen.
*Smoke alarm was missing from the wall (seems like a code violation?)
*Only one lamp in the bedroom so it was constantly very dark and difficult to get ready (a friend's room had multiple lamps?)
*Phone in the room did not work; was dead (wireless) and unplugged
*No plastic sack to line the ice bucket
Overall, we feel that we paid for a moderate luxury experience but received a Motel 8 experience. Because we were close to our friends, we did not request to be moved, but wanted others to be aware of this experience.
Great location for getting around Manhattan, nicely appointed rooms and very welcoming and friendly staff. Our family was there with a large group (football team) and the location was great for the team to either walk or access transit while exploring NYC. Front desk associate Carolyn Smith was so pleasant and patient with our families specific check in process even helping us find a room upgrade to accommodate our families needs at time of arrival. This was our 3rd stay in a few years and we’ll be back again. Thank you PCH NYC from the Morrison family.
Terrible check in!!!
Only one person to help 8 people. And it takes forever to get through the process. Don’t come here unless you have time to wait. We were trying to get to a show.
Our delegation had an excellent stay at the Park Central Hotel, thanks to the outstanding support from Ryan Ablao and Alicia Nunez. Both were professional, attentive, and quick to assist with every detail. Their dedication made the entire visit smooth and enjoyable. We truly appreciated their exceptional service!
Didn't get the premium corner room we booked even after fighting with management who was rude and refused to give us what we paid for. Further more the tub would fill up for baths. The shower curtain did not cover the shower so it flooded the bath room every time. Not to mention we got luke warm water the whole time. The heater didn't work in the room either despite being loud as can be. While trying to unwind in the evenings we were treated to channels constantly scrambling like they illegally streaming cable. At least it was clean. Horrible place to stay. Please don't waste your money here as we did.
This was our second stay here and again it was really enjoyable. The lobby area is inviting and calm. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff are friendly. The hotel is in a great location. We found it really easy getting around and going to and from JFK. The only small complaint we had was, we found the waiting staff in the bar area slow. We waited so long to get served and get our bill. We went to the bar to order ourselves and were told we wasn't allowed to do that.
Horrible customer service. Lady at the receptionist desk was so rude and was talking with a co-worker the entire time she was checking me in.
Filthy room. Potatoes chips left on the floor under the desk. Sink would not drain.
Bar and lounge did not open until 5:00 pm on Saturday. There is a small snack counter but the prices were outrageous.
We stood in line for almost 30 min on Sunday at 11:00 am with about 20 others. to check our bags so we could check out of the room and return around noon. No one was in hurry with only 1 bellman working.
Peter was so helpful and went above and beyond for us in finding our luggage! So glad he is at Park Central Hotel! Would totally recommend!!
Had the best week staying here in October! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and rooms were comfy and spacious! Location was exactly what we wanted. Looking to book again for next year!
Check-in was a breeze. Vito was very helpful and we had a great time talking with him. Vito was able to answer our questions and provided fantastic service.
