Not what we expected 😡
Pros:

My friend booked and paid for a double room with a bathroom at the Milling hotel Windsor in Odense Copenhagen on Thursday 12 March for one night. We arrived around 5pm . We were allocated room number 219 which was miles down the corridor very end by the fire exit on the 2nd floor. When we arrived we were shocked that the toilet and bathroom were opposite the room. We were only there for one night so thought all the other rooms may have been booked and didn't want to cause a fuss but after thinking about it we both felt very angry that we had paid for a room that included a bathroom inside the room. This is a very unsafe situation for two women to be put in so very far away and having to go backwards and forwards to the bathroom during the night. I feel the hotel put us into a bad situation.

This morning when leaving I discovered there had been many free rooms with bathrooms included exactly as we booked and paid for . I was furious and I asked the receptionist why they had put us in this room when we had paid for a room with a bathroom inside and there were obviously many other free rooms ?? Her reply was that she didn't understand why we had been put into this room because that particular room is never used and agreed two women should NOT have been given it. In fact , she said she would NEVER allocate it to anyone ever. Needless to say our stay was not the best which was a shame. The staff were lovely.

Pros:

Lokationen, morgenmaden, afslappet stemning. Har boet rigtig mange gange på Milling hotellerne.

Cons:

Grunden til min anbefaling er lavere end ellers, er at håndvasken var tilstoppet - og måske derfor var der en lugt i rummet. Delte det med personalet næste morgen, som vil få det fixet.

Cons:

Gammelt, slidt. Kedelig morgenmad. Alt smagte færdigkøbt og ikke frisklavet.
Gammelt værelse, affald i trappeopgangen.

Das Personal im Hotel war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für den Parkplatz müssten wir nichts bezahlen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut.

Cons:

Es war etwas hellhörig. Wir würden wach, als nachts Hotelgäste zurückkehrten. Das Zimmer war etwas zugig.

Bis auf den lästigen Gestank aus dem Bad und der längeren Parkplatzsuche am samstag abend war gut
Pros:

Frühstück war gut, die Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe der Innenstadt auch, die Betten waren groß genug, das Zimmer war ordentlich.

Cons:

es gab leider keine kostenfreie Parkplätze, die Aussicht war ein Hinterhof, direkt vor unserem Fenster war eine Dachterasse und aus dem Bad muffelte es.

Pros:

Breakfast was good, and the afternoon snack was an experience I've never had at any other hotel. The cafe machine was always there to serve drinks.

Cons:

It is an old building where we booked two rooms. The double room was fine, but the single room was so small that it felt like a jail cell. It would be better if we booked two double rooms, since the price difference wasn't significant.
