I had amazing experience. The staffs were welcoming and i enjoyed the service
Wonderful and extremely helpful and friendly staff
Some of the cobblestone pathways and swimming pool not so easily accessible because of many stairs
My recent stay at the Fairmont was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel perfectly captures a classic, timeless atmosphere while providing top-tier luxurious services.
What truly set this experience apart was the staff. The entire team was professional and welcoming, but the reception desk deserves special praise. I encountered an issue with my credit card upon arrival, and the staff handled the situation with incredible patience and professionalism, resolving it in a calm manner that immediately put me at ease.
If you are looking for a clean, calm, and sophisticated environment in Kenya, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I look forward to my next visit!"
Excellent!
One staff could have been more courteous, especially at checkout, and the restaurant service could be faster.
The staff were fantastic and made the stay that much more enjoyable.
Nothing it was an amazing hotel.
Beautiful - well located - comfortable - exceptional service! Loved everything about it. It will be where I stay on every trip to Nairobi from here on out!
Comfortable classic hotel in center if Nairobi. Very friendly service, good food and cozy gardens. We would stay again.
A beautiful hotel that provides a peaceful stay with elegance and class.
The Building and its history is amazing.
The staff were exceptional, so kind, so helpful and performed over and above their duties set out for them.
Security was impeccable, with car searches and people scanning arch only reinforced how much this hotel values its guests.
Excellent service

We had 3 nights at the fabulous Fairmont The Norfolk Hotel in Nairobi just before we headed off on safari. It was a great base to explore from in terms of its location and it was topped off by having wonderful staff (especially the ladies on reception) and being in a quiet location. The rooms were cosy and comfortable with a high standard of linen and cleanliness. It felt safe and well-maintained - plus points for great showers. Sadly the weather was poor when we were there so we couldn't make use of the small pool, but it looked inviting. Breakfast was a standout with lots of choices and delicious food. We ate in the bar one evening and everyone enjoyed their meals and the prices were reasonable. Very happy to have stayed here and would recommend.
For the hotel's suggestion - hand towels could do with being one size bigger so ladies can use them to wrap washed hair in (they are too small) and the pillows were a little too plump for both my husband and I so we got slightly sore necks. Also, please consider spraying for mosquitoes at the turn-down service. We were both badly bitten on the first night, but after asking for the room to be sprayed, faced no other issues. These are very minor things and overall, it was a 5* stay. Thank you.
