Had the Most Wonderful Time.
Pros:

We had the most wonderful time at the Beverly Wilshire. My husband, teenage son, and I stayed there for a long weekend. We had many purposes of the trip--visiting friends and seeing colleges among them--and the staff was outstanding. They upgraded our room when we checked in. Everyone seemed to remember our names wherever we went and we were treated so nicely. The rooms were gorgeous and the location couldn't be better. I'd give it ten stars if I could. Thank you!

Iconic Rodeo drive hotel
Pros:

The hotel is located right on the iconic Rodeo Drive, within easy walking distance of all the high-end boutiques and restaurants in the area.

The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, always focused on guest comfort. There was an issue with the elevator for two days, and the team made every effort to accommodate guests during this time. As I was on the fifth floor, I used the stairs when needed.

Our initial room was on the tenth floor and featured a large balcony. It was a beautiful space, offering lovely city views at night and during sunrise.

Unfortunately, there was consistent elevator noise in that room, both day and night. The staff responded promptly and arranged an alternative room, even offering an upgrade. The new room was on the fifth floor; while comfortable, it did not include a balcony.

We had breakfast every morning. Room service breakfast had a wait time of approximately 45 minutes, so I would recommend placing the order at least an hour in advance. I preferred the in-room breakfast menu, as the restaurant offered more limited options.

The fresh orange juice is a must-try. The avocado toast was excellent, while the French toast was ok.

The spa is a must-try. I had a rejuvenating facial and used the steam room beforehand as recommended by the spa staff.
The products used left my skin glowing and significantly improved my dry skin.

I also had my hair and makeup done—both artists were highly creative, attentive, and open to adjustments, ensuring I was completely happy with the final look.

The pool area is very quiet and relaxing.

If you are visiting Los Angeles for the Grammys, this is an excellent hotel choice.

Exceptional hotel
Pros:

Absolutely blown away from the minute we arrived. It was our first time staying here and we would definitely recommend it to anyone. From the valet and reception staff to the waiting and room service teams, the service couldn’t be faulted. The room was fantastic, with a great view of the hills (Room 1285), and the cleanliness was immaculate. Nothing was too much trouble—everyone went above and beyond. We also dined at the Michelin-star restaurant on site, Cut, and can absolutely confirm it’s a must-visit. The only downside was having to leave and go home!

Second time even better than the first
Pros:

We have just completed our second stay at this hotel over the New Year period. We had an amazing time for our first stay and thought it couldn’t be any better - we were wrong!

From the moment we arrived we were greeted like long lost friends. Irene and Andre from front desk were both exceptional and always waved and smiled as we walked through the reception area.

Michael (Concierge) booked all of our restaurants for us during our 8 nights and we always got a great table - even in some notoriously difficult to reserve restaurants

We spent New Years Eve in Cut Lounge which was fabulous - probably the best NYE experience we have.

Our room was the one bedroom corner Beverly suite on level 11 which was a fantastic size and beautifully furnished.

It was so good we have already booked to come back in the same room category for the same dates this year.

Thanks to all of the amazing staff at a truly great hotel

The best of the best
Pros:

Whenever we come to Los Angeles, we stay at this hotel. Not only for the luxury and amenities, but also for the wonderful people who work there.
Everyone, absolutely everyone, is an excellent person who is always willing to help with a kind smile.
It's no coincidence that people have been working there for so many years.
The only bad thing about this hotel is when you have to leave; I never want to leave.
Thank you for everything, and we'll see you soon.

Dated
Pros:

he Beverly Wilshire is a timeless hotel with an incredible sense of history. From the moment you arrive, you feel the legacy of the property—truly a remarkable piece of Los Angeles history. The service reflects that pedigree as well: polished, attentive, and professional throughout the stay.

Breakfast at the hotel was excellent, but what really elevated the experience was the service. The staff went above and beyond, turning a simple meal into a memorable part of the visit.

That said, the hotel itself is very dated and in serious need of an update. For a property carrying the Four Seasons flag, this was genuinely surprising. While the history and service remain strong, the physical condition of the rooms and common areas no longer align with the expectations of the brand.

A historic icon with outstanding service—but one that is overdue for a thoughtful renovation.

Warning!Hotel housekeeping came away too early!
Pros:

The hygiene is excellent, and the location is very convenient.

Cons:

I am an out-of-town guest here for leisure and travel. My check-in experience was comfortable, and the night before my stay, I even mentioned to the front desk that I hadn't been resting well lately and hoped to get some proper rest here. However, at 8:45 a.m. the next morning, housekeeping repeatedly rang the doorbell and shouted, "Housekeeping!" I understand that this is partly because I didn’t turn on the "Do Not Disturb" sign—but the button for "Private" is on the door panel, which is different from the usual hanging signs, so I didn’t realize it the night before. Still, that wasn’t what upset me the most.

What really frustrated me was that after dragging my exhausted body to the door and telling them I wanted to rest a little longer before cleaning—while also pressing the "Private" button—an hour later, a card was slipped under my door. It roughly said something like: "We understand you don’t wish to be disturbed right now, but we are here to check on your safety and also have the right to ensure the hotel facilities are not being damaged." I don’t remember the exact wording, but… “check the facilities”? Seriously? At 8:45 a.m., what facilities are you checking? You disturbed me—just own it. Why try to justify it with such excuses? This is supposed to be a leisure-focused resort hotel. Do you really think guests come here to damage the property? I really don’t appreciate this kind of face-saving corporate language.

A “Pretty Woman” Dream Come True at the Beverly Wilshire!
Pros:

From the moment I arrived at the Beverly Wilshire in Los Angeles, I knew this trip was going to be unforgettable but I had no idea just how magical it would be.

First and foremost: Jose.
He deserves every wonderful, glowing, extravagant adjective in the dictionary. Jose didn’t just offer great service, he elevated my entire experience. He opened doors with Hollywood flair, took photos with us and for us like a true pro, and genuinely made me feel like the tourist superstar I apparently am! He delivered the full “Pretty Woman” moment and then some. He was exceptional, unforgettable, and truly the heart of my stay.

Secondly: the restaurant and bar staff.
I honestly could not have felt more cared for or more special. Every single person was attentive, warm, and effortlessly charming. The level of service made me feel like Julia Roberts after Richard Gere sweeps her off her feet, completely spoiled in the most fabulous way. Whether it was the food, the atmosphere, or (let’s be honest!) the amazing drinks, everything was flawless.

I came all the way from the UK for a special birthday, and it ended up being even better than I imagined. The Beverly Wilshire isn’t just a beautiful hotel, it’s the people who make it extraordinary. I truly can’t speak highly enough of the staff, the service, and the entire experience.

A million thank-yous to everyone who made my birthday sparkle. I’ll be talking about this trip for years!
