Great hotel with a feelgood factor from
start to finish. We had an efficient check-in, and as our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, we were invited into the lounge on one of the higher floors, to have drinks and snacks on the house.
The room decor might be viewed as a bit outdated, however, our room was very large and all furnishings were of a very high quality. The place was spotlessly clean.
Great concierge service, and also a superb breakfast in the mornings.

This was my first stay at Mandarin Oriental Jakarta, and it was a memorable one. As it was my first mother-daughter trip, choosing a reputable hotel was important to us for comfort and peace of mind.

The hotel is conveniently located near a mall, making it easy to access dining and shopping options. Service throughout our stay was exceptional. In particular, I would like to thank Kelly at reception, who kindly arranged an early check-in after our early morning flight—we truly appreciated the chance to rest right away. The bell boys and security personals were friendly and welcoming as well. I loved it that our luggages were handled promptly upon check in and check out.

The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. There was a slight issue with dust upon arrival, but it was promptly resolved after we shared our feedback with the reception team.

Breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide and enjoyable spread. The swimming pool, however, is quite deep at 1.8m, which may not be ideal for young children. We also noted that the spa prices were on the higher side, so we did not make a booking.

Overall, we had a pleasant and comfortable stay, and would consider returning in the future.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Mandarin Oriental during a long layover in Jakarta and we felt so incredibly welcomed by Dilla at reception. When she heard that we only had 8 hours to enjoy Jakarta/the hotel she worked hard to get us checked in a little early, settled us into the cafe so we wouldn't have to stand around while she worked her magic, and made tons of recommendations for which restaurants to eat at in the hotel. She was the friendliest front desk person I've ever met, and her energy and kindness really made our day. I typically stay at the Raffles in Jakarta but I'm so glad I gave the MO a chance this trip because it will be my go-to hotel in the future!

I had such a wonderful stay at Mandarin Oriental Jakarta. Everything about the experience was truly exceptional, from the warm hospitality and smooth check-in process to the comfort and cleanliness of the room.

The room was beautifully maintained, spacious, and very comfortable, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

A very special thank you to Vollyn, Maria, Tami and Jennifer (from cinnamon) for taking such good care of us during our stay. Their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made our experience even more memorable. They truly made us feel welcomed and well looked after, and we really appreciated their thoughtful service.

Really enjoyed my stay at Mandarin Oriental. The room was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. But honestly, the highlight was the service.

The staff were all super friendly, helpful, and attentive without being too much. Everything just felt smooth and well handled. You can really tell they care about the guest experience. Would definitely come back!!

My check-in experience was not very pleasant. No one offered assistance with my luggage until I specifically asked, and the check-in counter was quite disappointing—there was only one staff member on duty, which resulted in a long wait. Additionally, the room was not ready upon arrival.

On a positive note, I appreciated the room upgrade—it was a nice touch. The room itself was comfortable and well-appointed, although it could benefit from better soundproofing as street noise was quite noticeable. The corridor lighting, however, was quite poor.

Breakfast was enjoyable with a good selection, but the area became very crowded. While there were many waitresses, they did not come across as particularly friendly—there was a noticeable lack of warmth such as smiles or simple gestures like saying thank you.

Check-out was quick, which I appreciated, but again there was no assistance offered with luggage to the car.

Overall, I had high expectations, but unfortunately, I left feeling somewhat disappointed with the level of service. Perhaps I am being a bit critical, but I have had more satisfying experiences at other hotels.

That said, the location is definitely a strong advantage, with convenient access to a mall and public transportation. One additional note—the pool is not very child-friendly.

Always welcoming us with top notch hospitality

I absolutely loved my stay at Mandarin Oriental Jakarta. The room was incredibly comfortable and impeccably clean. Although the interior is not the newest, the design feels timeless, elegant, and very well maintained.

What truly made the experience special was the hospitality. The service from the staff was truly top-notch. During my birthday, the Guest Relations team (Sherly, Ochi, Tami, and Vollyn) surprised me with a cute greeting card and a lovely cake, which was such a thoughtful gesture 🤍🤍🤍

All the other staff members were also very warm and welcoming, always greeting guests with genuine kindness.

It was a wonderful stay, and I would absolutely love to return to Mandarin Oriental Jakarta again.

Everything was absolutely perfect during my stay at MOJKT! From pre-arrival, I had smooth communication with Matthias and Felicia in Reservations. Upon arrival, my room wasn’t quite ready (I think they were doing the final checks), but Kelly (FO) kindly escorted me to the Club Lounge while I waited. The room itself was stunning, thank you to the GR team - Sherly, Ochi, Tami, and Vollyn for the thoughtful little decorations and the fun TV slides.

A special thanks to Maria (Concierge) & one male staff (I forgot his name) for assisting with our luggage, especially since our flight was delayed. Can’t wait to be back in end June for Hyrox!

Absolutely amazing - we came to celebrate my wife's birthday and MO staff came up with a lovely chocolate cake from their cake shop complimentary without additional charge! The food are abundant, sashimi and the crab felt fresh and delicious. Thank you Marni, Jenni & Fatur to provide us a pleasant night to celebrate our important day!

I had iftar at Cinnamon Restaurant with my friend and we had such a good time there. From the moment we arrived, Marni escorted us and she was really kind. She took the time to explain how everything works in the restaurant and was very patient answering our questions, which made us feel comfortable right away.

During iftar, we were served by Fatur and Jenni, and they were both friendly, attentive, and always checking if we needed anything. Their service really added to the whole experience.

The food selection for iftar was amazing. There were so many options that we honestly couldn’t try everything because there was just that much food. Everything we tried tasted really good, and the drinks were super fresh. The chef was also very helpful and attentive, which was nice to see.

The restaurant itself was clean and had a really pleasant atmosphere. Overall, it was a very enjoyable iftar experience, and I’d definitely come back again.

We stayed for one night and mentioned that we were on our honeymoon. The room was spacious, with a great shower, lovely ambiance, and an excellent location. Not to mention, we received a cake, beautiful decorations, and sweet welcome wishes written in our room.
