Always happy to stay here. Staffs are all generally friendly and very welcoming from the security guards, receptionists, concierge team — basically everyone :) They can even remember me (probably because of my frequency staying here) and they never failed
The excellent customer service from all of the staff! Check-in was easy and felt welcomed. Room was spacious and clean. Excellent service at the restaurants too, especially from Fina! She made recommendations to try Indonesian food, was attentive, and a great smile!
We enjoyed everything about our stay. The staff is very nice and ready to assist. For example, Evelyn from the breakfast staff at Cinnamon buffet was very helpful and kind, showing interest even in the smallest details, writing “get well soon” on our family members’ drinks when we were getting to-go drinks for them. We would highly recommend this hotel for your next visit!

We visited Jakarta to celebrate my birthday, and the hotel truly exceeded our expectations. From a birthday slideshow welcoming us using our family photos, to room decorations and complimentary cakes, every detail was thoughtful. The service was excellent, the room was spacious and always impeccably clean, and the daily towel art was a lovely touch. They even surprised me with a birthday song and cake on our last day. A wonderful stay, we will definitely be back!
The staff 5 star. The rooms dated but comfortable. Not luxurious. The shower was great. The food and beverage side a huge let down. I’m hoping the F&B manager is away as it was dire. Day 1 breakfast stone cold. Had a whinge to manager. Day 2 good . Day 3 back to stone cold omelette, rice, snags etc. Unacceptable for this calibre of hotel. I feel for the manager Domenik ( he is great ) that his F&B manager has really let this hotel slip to this level. Think more D’tree standard than MO. Don’t let this one prevent you from staying at others in this chain.
The whole experience was amazing. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. If we needed anything they were always on top of it. The staff at the Spa were exceptional and those who offered massage services were very kind and experienced. I want to especially give a review to Deela, who was exceptional at the Royal Javanese massage. Thank you!

Disappointing. Was looking forward to experiencing all the Mandarin Oriental had to offer and received an email the day before arriving that the air conditioning in the hotel had broken down and they were unable to accommodate us. The hotel organised an alternative stay at the Pan Pacific, which we appreciated. I find it extraordinary that a hotel with such a global reputation had a malfunction of its essential infrastructure... This experience left a bitter taste, although the staff were apologetic and polite, this just should not happen in a hotel of this calibre.
