Nosara Beach Hotel

Nosara oldest development, this place is quirky and wonderful. Probably the best property in Nosara with a short walk to both Playa Pelada and Playa Guiones. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff and uniquely late 1970s architecture.

Gorgeous, isolated place with friendly staff and easy access to beautiful beaches. Prepare yourself for the drive in, which is on a dirt road with lots of holes. If you rent a car, get the insurance. Lots of restaurants nearby you can drive to or catch one of their mini-taxis. The free breakfast is delicious, and the views are awesome. The hotel design and architecture are definitely very different and fun.

Close walk to Guiones beach but you have to drive all the way around (16min) to get to Guiones beach and village. The road to La Luna Restaurant should be lighted because the onsite restaurant closes at 4:00. The hotel needs some paint and facade repair. Very cool architecture.
We saw a coati at the pool and other guests had seen some monkeys. Family friendly.

Best hotel in Nosara. Best location between Guiones and Pelada. Balance of luxury and rustic. Incredible views. Outstanding restaurant. Staff honorable and accommodating. Walk to surf. Solid all around.

Loved our stay at Nosara Beach Hotel. Great location and staff were so kind.

Overall the Hotel experience was very positive- great views, staff, food, and access to facilities. The rooms are a little dated and need some small improvements.

This was a beautiful, well maintained resort. Our room was immaculate. The location couldnt have been nicer. We stayed in the Jungle Room - just beautidul. We were able to see a family of howler monkeys.

The staff was very nice and did their best to help / accommodate us. Kids had fun. Restaurant next t door LaLuna is awesome. Guiones beach is literally 10 minutes away. Monkeys come for breakfast :)

A really funky place, steps to two beautiful beaches. The staff is very friendly, and the view we had from the room was stunning. The restaurant at the hotel did not serve dinner, and even though it's within walking distance to many restaurants, the roads are really not designed for walking (narrow dirt roads with busy traffic) which is a shame. We also had quite a few big ants crawling in the bedroom and bathroom.

Nosara Beach Hotel is a unique property where you experience a real connection to the Costa Rica pacific coast. Very intimate but with a lovely swimming pool and short walk to two very different beaches. Breakfast everyday was delicious and served by Elias, a young man who exemplifies the pura vida philosophy.

This was our second time at the property and we had a good experience. The room was great (spacious, well maintained and has a BEAUTIFUL balcony view). The property in general is so beautiful and has stunning view points. Pool area is great and clean. The restaurant was pretty good (Breakfast was always good and also good lunch options). The staff in general was again great.
The only downside of our stay was being bitten by one of their dogs that they were letting loose at the property. That was definitely not a great experience especially having kids in our group. After my complaint, at least for the remaining part of our stay, they kept the dog that attacked me (and a number of other guests) tight up. If wasn’t for this episode it would’ve been a Great experience.
