I've got a review for you about Hotel Cavour in Milan's centre. The hotel's 1930s retro decor gives it a unique, almost Agatha Christie novel feel 😊. However, the charm wears thin with small rooms and a tiny gym - and it's a bit of a mission to use it: you need to get a card from reception, it's only open from 7am, and you're limited to two hours.
Do not be concerned if you find in the Calm room which is accessable without shoes or telephone a staff memeber fully dressed using his mobile relaxed on the chaise longue.

The breakfast is basic, and while the service is good, it's not enough to lift the hotel to the luxury level you'd expect for a four-star in Milan's centre. At this price point, you'd expect a bit more wow factor.
Overall, Hotel Cavour feels like an okay central hotel, rather than a luxurious Milan experience.
