The bar needs to stay open later ......
From the moment we were met at reception until we checked out, we were welcomed and made to feel like we were appreciated. The rooms were well appointed and stocked. It was a very pleasant experience. The location is great right in the middle of midtown!
The room was great, the location makes it walkable for most activities or needs that I have and the Team where all very kind and happy to respond to me questions or needs.
I think that the restaurant and bar hours are not in tune with the needs or wishes of your guests. At a minimium, you should have the bar with a mini-bar menu available all day.
Location was the best. 5th Ave. close to st Patrick’s cathedral.

. Like WTF. Sandra apologized and switched my room for me and called someone at the very moment to make sure the new room has been cleaned. She asked if there was anything else, I brought up the USB-C, since I did end up buying another one at Apple, but chick gave me the wrong one! Sandra went and looked and voila - she lend me one. Hallelujah! But now, why couldn't Maria just offered this or do anything remotely helpful besides acting as though I am bothering her? Was it too much to ask for me to get a cleaned room? Is it because I won a night here, so they are punishing me to make me do more than what it is worth? Maria is ZERO stars - the worst front desk person in the world. When I checked out, Maria was there, she never apologized. I asked for Sandra, since I brought back the USB-C, and Maria said she'll tell Sandra. That was it - like why couldn't she be more helpful or even friendlier? MARIA is USELESS! Why is she working in front desk? But at least pillows and bed were good here.
The front desk staff greeted us warmly and made an accommodation to allow us to check out a little later in the day due to me running in the NYC Half Marathon and wanting to take a shower after. The doormen were welcoming, personable and helped us with obtaining taxis to our destinations. The room was large with a nice king bed (for NYC) and the bathroom was spacious with amazing shower pressure...it matters!
The pillows could have been better. One was stiff but very thin and the other was fluffy but deflated with any pressure.

Terrible spot with paper thin walls and zero frills. When we got to our floor, there was wet paint everywhere. There were no amenities, no mini fridge, no coffee machine. The beds were uncomfortable, not that it would matter due to noise. This hotel is totally inadequate for any major city.
My wife and I just returned from a long weekend getaway. The hotel is beautiful, but it's the people that make it special. Special shout out to JenniferTorres for helping make this trip a memorable one. Thanks to Danielle Lee for checking in with us during our stay. Jessica Munetz was a delight at the front desk, always helpful and always smiling! My wife and I enjoyed bantering back and forth with the bartender Demil. He has a great personality and is excellent at his craft. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back!!
Everything from arrival to checkout was fabulous! From the greeting when we arrived, to the helpful staff upon departure. The room was clean and our view from the balcony was breathtaking. We will definitely return. Location was perfect and the nightcap in the hotel bar was a perfect ending.
I went with my teen daughter to New York for a weekend during the holidays and the Omni was perfect for us! The location was awesome- so close to 5th ave/Rockefeller and pretty short walk to other midtown spots while not being in the crazy Times Square and surrounding environment. Also close to the 6 train for easy travel down to Union Sq, Bryant Park, Soho, etc. Everyone who worked there was super nice, free coffee in the morning, and we had no noise in our room (we didn't face the street though, which was fine b/c we weren't there much except to sleep/relax). Room was clean and not terribly tiny for a city hotel IMO. Only negatives were minimal clothing storage aside from hanging/closet and a broken elevator during our stay though they have 3 or 4 total and it's not a huge hotel so the wait was really not too bad compared to what I hear about normally at some of the huge hotels! Would definitely stay here again.
Took our daughter into the city for her birthday. Great hotel in perfect location with great staff and service. Will absolutely return.
We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Omni Berkshire Place with our two kids (ages 5 and 7). As Omni Select Guest Icon members, we were upgraded to a suite at check-in and the welcome amenities and note were thoughtful and appreciated.
Most of our experience was excellent, however one incident during our stay was upsetting: my husband (Filipino) returned to the hotel alone with shopping bags and was stopped at the guest elevators and told to take his “delivery” to the front desk. He stated he was a guest and showed his room key, but the concierge continued insisting he go to the front desk. It was embarrassing and felt like profiling.
Management later acknowledged the issue, but this interaction significantly impacted our overall impression. We would still stay here again, but I hope staff training reinforces respectful, non-assumptive guest interactions.
