personeel is aller aardigst' Het ontbijt is goed maar wel prijzig
Zes dagen heb ik op de toilet in het koude water gezeten, omdat het niveau van het water in de hotel te hoog stond. Men kon het niet verhelpen, terwijl de reparatie niets voorsteld. Na zes dagen hebben we een andere kamer gekregen. Het hotel heeft op de ontbijt afdeling alleen maar trappen. Ik was bij aanzicht van al die trappen bij het inchecken al direct wegggewild, dat kon echter niet omdat wij onze dochter met kleinzoon uit belgie hadden uitgenodigd en wij van af ons woon adres in Aruba in het hotel hadden afgesproken en geboekt. Ik ben drieentachtich jaar en kan geen trappen lopen . Er waren ook ramps waar je gebruikvan kon maken, maar net niet open als ik die wilde gebruiken. In het hotel kun je geen warme maaltijd bestellen s'avonds. Het restaurant is zinds een jaar gesloten. Je kut ook geen eten van buiten het hotel bestellen , omdat het hotel geen mogelijkheid heeft waar je e.e.a. op kunt eten. Natuurlijk hebben wij het wel naar onze zin gehad met onze dochter en klein zoon , maar dat heeft niet aan het hotel gelegen. Op mijn advies heeft het hotel nog veel werk gehad om onder alle meubilair en de bar de kauwgom te verwijderen. Voor ons was deze vakantie een ramp en wij viden dat booking.com ons hiervoor had moeten wwarschuwen. Nogmaals het ligt niet aan de mensen van het hotel die zijn allemaal vrienden geworden. WIj zullen hier nooit meer terug komen, al betaald u ons 1000 dollar per dag. Voor de zoveelste keer is mijn gevoel bevestigd , dat als je in amerika via booking .com een kamer boekt in een hotel , je altijd de slechtste kamer krijgt.

I have had the opportunity to stay at the Omni Shoreham going back a number of years. It has been always great and I loved it then and I do now. The environment and lobbies and public area are a beautiful stately, polished, comfortable and elegant (including in the lobby and lounge areas. The venue is beautiful as are the restaurants both the Roberts and Marquee which have good food and great service. The staff at the Omni are about making the most of welcoming guests and are a cut above. They always engage guests and are warm, kind and extremely helpful. From the front desk staff whom are all highly polished professionals and provide clear and helpful answers and solutions no matter what the situation or request. The concierge Eva Michels has a gift which is unsurpassed - that is bringing our little couple retirement retreat of four days for fun a memorable one! We were greated by her with a surprise balloon bouquet and lovely welcome with beautiful antique blank postcards of the hotel (frameable). She procided us with amenities for our little celebration. Eva is a warm caring person who accomplishes the fine art and the long lost art of creating an oasis and environment and creating an oasis of welcome, luxury and comfort. The staff e individually and together from pre-areival and after when I had questions I directed to the front desk, or anyone there .and all with whom I had the pleasure of meeting, the bellhop Martin, the Marquee waitress Ayu and all staff are greatly appreciated by me. The warm welcomes and help from Eva, Roos, Alexandra, Leslie, and all of the staff at the front from the first message in which I requested some info to the time I checked out.made us so happy and relaxed. The staff in the Marquee, including our lovely waitstaff Ayu are so easygoing and helpful and everyone there is always. It was the case during our little retirement celebration and many times in the past as a solo guest and with my family. Thank you so much Eva Michels and all of the wonderful Omni Shoreham team. Did not have breakfast
The sink in the bathroom had a slow drain room 533 east tower.
the view was amazing I loved the out door garden. Overall I do like your hotel very much I just hope that u can do some improvements. Especially the pool. I really love it. If there could be an indoor pool that would be even better. I’m not a fan of the sun.
The floor in the kiddie pool hurt my kids feet. My younger one even had a horrible bleeding from the kiddie pool. You don’t have any Neosporin in the front desk of the pool and my baby had a horrible cry from the alcohol we had to use to clean her wound. I asked for body wash and shampoo and bandage the next day on room service and I never got it. My husband was very upset about that. You don’t have anyone holding doors for us most of the time and my husband is blind and I’m holding 2 kids so that made it very difficult for us. One time my husband was holding the door for us but because he is blind he couldn’t see that my other baby had not gone through the door yet and the door hit my kid. I know that is his fault but he is blind and he only had to hold the door for us because u had no one holding the door.
My stay turned out to horrible. Valet scammed me of $64 without informing that there was a charge despite of me askimg if i can park myself. They said no we only do Valet here sneaky people. They take your card upront and basically can rip ypu off. A guest at their property hit my car while my car was in Valets posession. Their gust left a wrong ph# and a email adress which she is not replying too. I have called numerous times, they say they are sorry and want valet to investigate but valet manager has not replied to my text msg since yesterday. BE CAREFUL!!!.... i had accidently booked a room without breakfast, so i called them immediately and asked if i could be upgraded and i was willing to pay. The dude who picked up my call upgraded me from deluxe to a premium and said it was free of charge. When i got to the property a lady checked us in. I asked hwr again if breakfast was included she said yes. Next morning i called front desk to see what time the breakfast closed and to check how many we can order with 3 kids in my visits, she said there is no breakfast included..I went for one night and it was just horrible... Also their gave me 1 voucher for free drinks whereas we were 4 people. How i know this becaise my family stay at the same level right next to my room and were given one voucher for each member including children.Never again and i do not recommend this place.

The location was perfect, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was absolutely lovely. I have plans to visit again. You all have a loyal customer in us!
