Location, facilities and rooms were outstanding.
The online hotel reservation system and booking/confirmation system is horrible and was a total nightmare. The hotel had too many systems and one did t know what the other was doing
Beautiful location, big american styl hotel with a huge lobby, very kind peolpe at the reception.
The room we had, was spacious and has good beds. The interiour of the room was well taken care off, but outdated.
With good parking facility, close to public transport and easy access to down town Washington.
In the close surrounding, you will nice breakfast, lunch and dinner facillities as well as a supermarket and more (just a 2 minutes walk.)
And don't forget to jump into the pool and take a walk in the garden.

Location was super close to where we wanted to go great food great views everything is walking distance food, stores, etc
Walking in, the hotel is GORGEOUS! I loved that they had a kid play room because most hotels don’t offer that. Great location even with the minimal parking. They also do activities though we didn’t partake in any.
Our room had a nasty moldy urine like smell to it upon walking in. Once we entered the bathroom, the smell was worse and the ceiling had a mold ring on it. We let the property know via the number they provided and no one responded for over an hour. We had left the property and came back. While we were out, someone contacted us and said they would get us a new room upon our return. We returned close to 10pm and when we got back, the front desk told us there was no need to move us due to housekeeping cleaning the room. The front desk person told me to go to the room and let them know if we still wanted to change rooms and that someone would bring up the refrigerator we asked for at check in. The room still had the strong odor but the black ring was gone. We called down to the front desk but no one answered. We showered our kids and called down again and still no answer. No one called us back nor did we get our refrigerator for me to store our baby’s milk. My fiancé also saw a roach run across the bathroom floor into a hole behind the toilet. We just endured for the night since we were only staying till morning.
This is the fourth year in a row I spent my birthday at the Omni shore hotel in Washington we love it here the rooms are great and the hotel is very well maintained but the best part of it is the staff at the hotel especially Lydia at the pool bar when I go down my first day I know I’m on vacation when I see her she mixes a great drink and it’s always fun to talk to also Henry at the pool check-in is always a delight friendly and super helpful the rooms were clean and the housekeeper who cleaned our room was wonderful room 577 we will be back next year and just love it here
Die Lage ist sehr gut nicht weit weg von der Metro, einem kleinen Supermarkt und Möglichkeiten zu frühstücken oder Essen zu gehen. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und die Klimaanlage kann man nachts ausschalten.
Das Hotel ist alt und damit sehr hellhörig. Die Türen bieten keinen Schallschutz. Jeder Gast der durch den Flur geht und sich unterhält, und das wird gerne sehr laut gemacht, weckt einen auf. Die Wände sind ebenfalls sehr dünn.
An historic hotel that doesn’t disappoint. Very good service, full service, and very busy with various conferences. It is more a conference hotel than a resort hotel. I went there as a child and still have lovely memories.
The Omni in DC is a huge lovely hotel. It has a very impressive lobby and beautiful amenities. Check in was easy however my room was not ready at 6:30pm but the staff was wonderful and got it finished quickly. I thought the room was in need of an update. For the price of a deluxe room I should not see crumpled wallpaper and old carpet which i felt had a smell to it. However, it was very spacious including a walk in closet and dressing room with the exception of the bathroom which was very tiny in comparison to the room. It made it difficult with my elderly mother. The Marquee lounge food and service was excellent. We had been provided with tickets upon arrival for free drinks but it was only for wine or beer. The hotel was having a huge convention so it was quite crowded. Overall, I recommend this hotel in DC as its location s in a lovely area of town with easy access to Washington sites.
This is a stately old hotel. The lobby is lovely and grand. The grounds are nice. The rooms are comfortable but a little worn here and there but it’s not a problem. The bed was comfortable and the room very quiet - good black out curtains for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was tiny but we managed. The hot water took awhile to come in and it was dicey now and then during a shower but again, we managed just fine. I would stay here again but wish that the staff in the restaurants were nicer and more friendly. They are efficient but act like they do not like their job. The location of this hotel is great as there is the Woodley/Zoo metro stop one block away.
Leslie, at the Omni Shorham location reception desk at check-in was absolutely wonderful!!! Welcoming and congenial.
However, the bed was uncomfortable, with only 1 lumpy pillow each for the king sized bed.
Bounce House was only open 2 days out of the 4 days we visited. We visit to see our very young grandchildren and would have preferred it was open on more days
I liked the location was close to the metro station, restaurants nearby and in a quiet neighborhood. I really appreciated the streamcast ability for the TV and the robes provided in the room.
I wish there was a fountain to fill up water bottles. The men's sauna was broken.
