Bayfront Inn Fifth Avenue

The building is old and tired. Its main asset is a great view. The pool are was not clean. We had a rude server at the bar/restaurant

We enjoyed our stay here having booked a bay view room. £250 per.night, no breakfast included !!
However, the views really are great, if you like a beautiful sunrise these rooms are for you.
The location is excellent with Tin City a few minutes walk away. The restaurants here are located right on the Gordon River, they are relaxed, good fun and serve excellent sea food.
15 mins walk takes you to the downtown strip of Naples with lots of excellent eateries, quirky shops, high end galleries etc.
The down sides are…… the pool is right adjacent to a busy road and right on the flight path of Naples airport - expect zero peace and quiet.
The restaurant and bar within the hotel are ok, the service was really poor with the staff not really interested, delays in being served and waiting ages for the food and drinks to arrive. A complete contrast to the Tin City restaurants which were excellent.
In short, great location, poor service.

The Bayfront Inn is not the greatest. First off they charge 20.00 to park a car which in my opinion should be included in the price charged per room.
Elevators are super slow!
Ice machine on our floor was broken and had been for awhile.
Light switch after entering room didn't work.
The room didn't have a desk where someone could sit to do makeup etc.
Hairdryer was so old and the handle was disgusting to touch. Do BETTER!!! For 400.00 a night it isn't worth it. The room also smelled stale and musty.
Staff not very friendly and room wasn't ready when we arrived and they said they would call us but of course did not!
View was good as well as location.
Outside in the back by the restaurant it seemed dirty and all the planters had dead plants in them and they also seemed short staffed. There was live music but it was so loud it was impossible to try and have a conversation. Terrible!
Would not recommend. This place is trending to be a Motel 6 in a year and at $79 a night they'll be gouging people at that price.

Never book with this hotel regardless of the deal. They cancelled our reservation without notice while we were traveling to Naples. Charged our credit card too. When we pointed out the situation, all they could do was refund our money. No apology, no restitution for their error. The clowns at the front desk are just that - clowns. After talking to them to ensure my reservation was intact due to a snowstorm delay and flight cancellation, they assured me all was good with the reservation. Well, it wasn't, and luckily another hotel was able to get us in, otherwise we would have landed in Naples without a room.

the staff was very pleasant and helpful, however the hotel itself was old with minor upgrades. The mattress was lumpy and way to soft, apparently needed to be replaced. Bathroom was so so small with limited counter space. The hairdryer handle was sticky and a lot of lint on the coils.
Although conveniently located, the overall lack luster ambience was not worth the price paid for the room.

Stayed here for two nights. The reception staff were miserable. No explanation of facilities given to us when we arrived. When the booking was originally made 12 months ago breakfast was included. Since August last year that is no longer the case but our original agreement was not honoured. The decor in the room needs updating. Paint peeling in places. No shower gel provided. The plug in the washbasin did not work. The bathroom is very small. No creamer provided for coffee. When we asked at reception they had run out. On the positive side there are.plenty of restaurants nearby to get away from the hotel. Also a safe is provided in the room along with water.

Great location within a 10 min walk to restaurants, excellent staff, incredible value. Property is a bit dated, but I’d Def stay there again.

Nice quiet and very clean hotel. Atmosphere qas pleasant and welcoming. We were able to relax and enjoy the room and some of the amenities. Nice mexican restaurant at waking distance, I was able to view frim my window view. The patio area was nice. We had a long walk to the downtown area were they have more stores and very nice restaurants. At the end of the downtown street was the beach. It was a long walk but nice. If you don't like to walk that much, I would recommend driving to the downtown area. Room was very clean, nice towels and linen. Room had a mini fridge, tv, coffee machine and 2 bottle water complementary of the hotel. Looking forward to stay here again.

No complaints was very clean and couldn’t fault it rooms were fine also . The only complaint was we paid to have breakfast included were not given vouchers until we asked then when we were offered a Continental Breakfast which wasn’t great tasteless . There was an upgrade of $2 ( $5 was tax and gratuity added) for cooked breakfast but everything else was full price . I would suggest don’t pay for Breakfast Included . That apart really good

Great food

We loved the property. It was extremely convenient to everything nearby. We thought we’d be annoyed by the road noise but we didn’t hear a thing until people started wandering the halls in the morning. Really enjoyed our stay!

Nice pool area and great restaurant/bar. Room was very clean and comfortable plus we had a great view. Our King Suite also had 1 1/2 bathrooms! Very nice.
