Clean, quiet, heated clean pool and a working jacuzzi.
AC isn’t the best. First unit went out and had to switch rooms. Second was worst than the first. Shower pressure could be better!
Charming looking hotel with parking.
Great location - although I’d originally booked it due to being on the St. Charles line which was partially closed for repairs while we were there (replacement bus on). But when it’s fully open, the location would be brilliant.
Great pool & hot tub. Not very busy while we were there. Open until 10pm so great for late night dip when we’d been out all day in the heat.
Lovely breakfast area - again not very busy but offering was simple & sufficient.
We had an issue with our air conditioning leaking in our original room & the team were great moving us to another.
Toiletries provided. Fridge / microwave & safe.
The hotel looks great but there are just a few bits that could do with a little TLC - the tap in our room kept leaking unless you got it exactly in the right spot. Both shower heads in both rooms moved on the walls.
Parking at $25 a night is quite steep. But parking is at a premium I suppose for where we were staying.

This hotel is a gem. It is on the most famous street in the city. The façade facing the street hides what is behind it.

Could use better pillows
It was a nice place. Clean and comfortable. We were close to Burbon Street and the French corridor. The transportation was great. The buses and streetcars ran constantly and it was easy getting around.
There wasn’t anything that I disliked.
The property was full of stray cats that the staff fed. There were 2 roaches in my room during my stay. There was a Gould smell of cat food and urine around my room door.

There really was nothing to dislike about the location. The staff was fantastic, the room was great, and the layout for the breakfast area was great as well.
$14.99 is a bit High for the breakfast that they had. It was your typical Hotel breakfast. The stop taking care of it was very nice, but I regular restaurant with better variety would have ran real close to the same price.

We loved the location in the lower garden district, so easy to walk to restaurants and just walk our dog in such wonderful streets. You are wonderful about dog people! Thank you for allowing us to have our River with us. And the hot tub and pool were a nice touch and very relaxing after a long day of walking! Also love the high ceilings, quiet, and comfortable bed -- so much to like about this place. We'll definitely be back.
I guess the thing that left us feeling a bit despondent was the smoke alarm, which started chirping at 3 a.m. the day we were planning to make a long 10-hour drive back home. It is nothing you can anticipate I suppose, but there was just no way we could reach it with any furniture in the room -- on such a high ceiling, we tried helplessly just to sleep through it, but it was impossible. And we didn't want to wake up others with something that silly; I mean, what could be done? Who would have a ladder at 3 a.m.? So we just packed up and left. It's stupid of course, but man it was just irritating. (Maybe figure out how old your batteries are and have a schedule to change them before they start to go out?). I don't know.
