Brilliant hotel
Pros:

Everything. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was big, as was the bathroom, it was spotlessly clean, breakfast was fine and it was just a great place to stay. It was great value and I would recommend it 100 per cent.

Excellent location within walking distance of town, on site parking, very pleasant and helpful staff

Cons:

Breakfast fell short of expectations given the excellent reviews. The choice and quality was far short unless you wanted a cooked breakfast, which we didn’t. However this was the only gripe.

Excellent, highly recmmended
Pros:

Friendly, welcoming, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Request for a quiet room was met. Excellent shower. Clean. Great location for walking to station & to nearby restaurants & Saltaire

Cons:

Room a bit hot on 1st night, & couldn't work out why. No Baileys at bar - but the barman gave me a good shot of an alternative liqueur, so I was happy !

Welcoming, clean and comfortable hotel just 10 mins from Bradford
Pros:

Spacious well equipped room that was spotlessly clean.

Welcoming staff
Pros:

It is always nice to be recognised as a returning guest by staff met on previous visit.Hotel has a warm family feel about it.Given lovely spacious room for single occupancy and had excellent shower facilities.

Comfortable hotel with a good breakfast.
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The room was comfortable. The hotel is ideally placed for visiting Saltaire, which was excellent.

Cons:

I paid extra for a deluxe room as I wanted a jacuzzi bath, which was shown on the Booking.com website. I have a bad back and wanted a soak in a bath after a day's driving and sightseeing. When we got there we found we only had a shower. Apparently you have to specially request a jacuzzi bath and they are getting rid of them in favour of showers. This is not clear on the website. The shower was an overhead fixed shower and no shower caps were provided, so we didn't use it. Disappointing. I would not have paid extra for a deluxe room if I had known.
Don't ask for a white wine at the bar, not the best!

Perfect two day break.
Pros:

Recently stayed at the Abbey Lodge to attend a wedding. On arrival Carl was very pleasant and professional and explained everything we needed to know about the hotel and local area.
Very nice room with everything you would need.
The breakfast was lovely and the morning staff were great. We would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

Not a complaint, as I know it's a necessity, but, the emergency light above the door was very bright.
