Renelly and Cammie fan!
Pros:

Great experience every time I stay at this location. I have to highlight Renelly and Cammie. I have checked in to many hotels over the years and these two know exactly how to make a guest feel welcomed and appreciated! From their advice on sites to see and their attention to detail throughout my stay for some of my preferred amenities really made my stays enjoyable. Thank you again and see you soon!

excellent Marriott location
Pros:

This Marriott location still does things with excellence, quality, and care. From the pre-arrival greeting from Noreen to Lauren taking care of a pre-arrival discrepancy to the efficient check-in by Shaniya(?) to M Club masters Amber & Rosa providing a welcoming experience every time to Juan giving great service in the Republic Grill, my entire stay was enjoyable and memorable. For a 2nd year in a row, this has become my go-to place when I visit Houston. Way-To-Go!

Great service in a time of need!
Pros:

Thank you Moe for your excellent service! I left three items in the closet in my room. I never do this. I realized I did when I was at the airport. I called and the Marriott team took my number and was amazing communicating as they looked for my items. They were mailed to my home within 3 days. Thank you so much!!!

Second Stay
Pros:

I stayed here for the second time on a two night business trip. Unfortunately this stay wasn’t that good.
Two main factors went into my 2 out of 5 rating. First, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress and pillows were in desperate need of replacement. The mattress was very lumpy and I could feel the springs. It had almost no support. The pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. This was surprising for a full service Marriott. They usually have very comfortable beds.
Second, I was on the 9th floor and the water in the shower and sink never got beyond lukewarm.
I cannot recommend staying here.

Good value for the price
Pros:

The staff was friendly, it was fairly clean and free parking.

Cons:

It was further away from downtown and most activities, the bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned.

Bringing the Home Office to the Road
Pros:

One of the true joys of working in Sales is the flexibility to work from anywhere. That said, after years of extended travel, I know how challenging it can be to recreate a true “home office” experience on the road.

Outpost has completely changed that for me.

From the monitors to the full workstation setup, keyboard, mouse, and all the right connections, they’ve made it seamless to step into a hotel room and feel fully equipped to do your best work. It’s thoughtful, it’s practical, and it simply works.

Just as important, their service is outstanding. Everything is set up with care, and the experience feels easy from start to finish.

Grateful for what this team is building. It’s made a meaningful difference in how I’m able to show up and perform while traveling.
