It was 80 degrees in our room. Moved to another room and it was the same. Third night moved to a room that was cool

Pros:

Good sofa beds, bathroom with good lighting and hot water.

Cons:

Not enough handicap parking space up front, have to pay for parking, and have more valet parking over anything else. The A/C didn’t stay on and the room was hot, elevator wait time is crazy to have four elevators and it’s slow or one isn’t working, we only stayed over night at this location due to concerts and it’s a close location to the spectrum center.

I’m not staying here again especially for the price

Cons:

The tv didn’t work at all, the toilet is 5 inches from shower so you have no room, and the biggest inconvenience is the elevators. They take forever!!!!

I love this location close to everything. You don’t have to leave unless u want to w the indoor and outdoor pool and roo

I would not recommend this location for anyone going to the Charlotte area
Pros:

The one thing I liked about the property was the location

Cons:

The staff didn’t aid me with my request, the room I requested was the complete opposite. I had no view of the city, when I entered my room it smelled like strong cigarette smoke, the bathroom was not properly cleaned. I had to request housekeeping.

Clean rooms nice local. Needs to work on elevator situation

Elevators where down and the one that where working where not working properly. There was also allot of renovation going on leading to the parking garage.

Run for your life
Pros:

What a terrible experience all around.

Upon arrival, 1 of 3 elevators working. Never got fixed over 4 days. Colleagues say reviews indicate it's been that way for months. Nothing like bringing hundreds of people to an event, all of whom need to be on the elevators at once, and they don't work.

Got to the room. All the woodwork is banged up. Bathroom door rotted and peeling paint on the bottom. AC would never cool the room. Other colleagues had to be moved, no AC. Tub didn't drain.

Stayed 4 nights. Housekeeping came once, didn't take the trash, didn't refill our sink soap.

Conference rooms are a DISASTER. Ridiculously hot. Yesterday there was truly not even the AC blowing hot air, while system was down for part of the AM.

Marriott should seriously kick this hotel out of the chain. This was a disaster.
