We stayed in a two-bedroom "apartment"; one room had a double bed and the other a single bed with small table and TV; along with a shared shower/toilet room. The room with the single bed has a efficiency kitchenette stored behind a closet door, which makes cooking possible. The rooms are quite basic and small, with very little storage space (especially for ski clothing in winter). The bedrooms are not a place one would want to relax and spend any amount of time (apart from sleeping and showering/dressing). The WiFi signal throughout the hotel is very slow and unreliable. If you have important work to do which requires a reliable/strong signal, you'll be disappointed. The hotel and rooms could use a refurbishment, but the staff are helpful and friendly. The family which owns the hotel group are enterprising in arranging a ski race week for children at what would otherwise be a slow time of the season. The food in the hotel restaurant is mediocre.
There really are no big faults with this place, but I just didn't like it very much. Mostly because I really found the place too ugly.
Basics: It is a residence, that is an apartment hotel, and it is quite large. The apartments have the stuff you need to cook, typical Italian set up for holiday apartments. No dishwasher or micro.
We stayed four persons in a six person apartment, and if we had been six, it would have been really crowded.
You don't get any cleaning service during the stay, which is perfectly normal for residences, but they actually changed the towels once and that was a nice surprise. But upon arrival it wasn't very well cleaned,
Our room faced the river and mountains, and the view was very nice. The river is really noisy but the windows were quite soundproof so inside the room it was very quiet.
All in all it's quite a basic place, rather cheap, but it was way too gloomy for me. The corridors are long and really dark, the apartments have green tile floor, greenish walls and to top it all, avocado green ceiling. I realise that interior decoration is a matter of taste and some people surely find this cozy, but to me it was just plain ugly and depressing. It made really not want to stay in the apartment any more than necessary. Needless to say, that's why we never used the kitchen, it felt so uninviting.
