MORA Boutique Hotel

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. We had an amazing time in Chiang Rai overall, but our stay at Mora Boutique still stood out! The room was very spacious and comfortable, and staff went above and beyond to be welcoming and helpful. Incredible drinks at the rooftop bar watching the 360° sunset over the mountains, and our waiter was amazing.

Sadly only had the chance to stay here one night but it was wonderful. The staff from beginning to end were amazing and the room felt luxurious. Our favorite was the rooftop bar, had the best waiter and drinks were to die for.

Wow, what a place. Mora has the friendliest, most hospitable, most welcoming staff we have ever come across. Facilities are also amazing. Thank you Mora for a beautiful few days. ❤️

We liked this hotel except we had three of us and the single bed was very uncomfortable. Shower was awesome and so was the room. They had a nice map for us to get around on foot which really helped out.

this is really a lovely hotel with wonderful friendly and efficient staff. We totally enjoyed the experience from the "lucky draw" at check in (my wife drew a free cocktail) to the small gift at check out. The location was also very good near the center of Chiang Rai. It was lovely to be able to sit outside near the pool for breakfast. Our room was more like a suite with a small room for sitting and a pretty big bathroom area.

We stayed for two nights at the beginning of November 2025 and found both the hotel and its staff charming. The rooms were both spacious and luxurious, and great value when compared to the larger chain hotels. In particular the rooftop restaurant is a hidden gem, offering excellent value (the hotel offer a 10% discount for guests who dine) and as importantly excellent taste. I'm sorry that I didn't get their names but the two girls thar between them were the 'maitre-d's' are a credit to the hotel!)

The hotel is beautifully decorated, rooms and bathrooms are very nice. But sadly the bathroom has a huge window overseeing the pool and terrace of the hotel, so if you are in the lower floors you are forced to close the blinds to shower/bathe/use toilet. So really the design is flawed.
The breakfast choices are ok, but need a little bit more cold cuts/cheeses and more variety of breads.

Great in all ways. The room, the location, the food, the staff, the amenities—all were just perfect. Highly recommended this hotel for travelers to Chiang Rai. You won’t be disappointed. Quiet rooms with comfortable beds. Lovely pool

I don't quite know where to start. The stay at this hotel was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived till checking out, everything was incredible. This is a beautiful hotel, but the real superstar factor is every employee that works here. So helpful, attentive, friendly, consistently going above and beyond.

Words that I am writing in this review, simply do not do justice for how great every staff member is here. Thank you for making this such a pleasant experience.

This hotel was absolutely amazing! Could not fault it! The hotel itself was modern, clean and beautifully decorated. The room was big and comfortable, with complimentary drinks and snacks! And finally, the staff! They were incredible, so friendly and cheerful! They couldn’t do more for us! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone!

It is said that first impression is everything and the staff knows that for shure. Everything was immaculate at this hotel. Breakfast was impressing (they even offered cheese wich is rare in Thailand) Rooms were well sized, pool area was was cool.

I stayed here for three nights. The hotel was lovely and modern. It was clean and well looked after. The staff could not do enough for me and were very friendly and welcoming. The pool was a good size and the gym was small but well equipped. The food in the restaurant was lovely.

Great hotel, very friendly staff and excellent service. Fantastic pool.
Breakfast buffet very good too, and we got a breakfast takeout when we left early morning.
Very decent size rooms and comfy beds also.
We got a free room upgrade.

We had a wonderful time - our room was generous in size and comfortable, we found it easy to organise our things.
The staff are very helpful - check-in, meals, queries: all were handled quickly and professionally, always with a smile.

The Mora is a beautiful hotel with staff who are both friendly and professional at the same time. We felt welcomed and very well looked after the whole time we were there (3 nights). The hotel is in a quiet area of Chiang Rai but close enough to the sites you will want to visit.
The rooms are elegant and comfortable. The room reminded me of a Jo Malone shop in the West End of London. We had a suite with a walk-in shower, a japanese soaker bath, and an ample dressing area. The bedroom room had a huge bed and a separate seating area with flat screen tvs in both areas. The room environment was perfect. We always felt just right, neither too hot nor too cold.
Breakfast was excellent. Good service from the staff and options, including Thai and Western food.
The pool and garden area is very sophisticated looking with a black bottomed pool, well kept planting and large urns with tiny fish in them.
There is an air-conditioned excercise room and a Spa above. We took Swedish massages in the spa and they were very good.
We recommend this hotel in all it's aspects. Thank you Mora.
