Location, Facilities and Staff
We were on the 1st floor and couldn't here music from the bar even though it was loud in the hallway.
Live Music was too loud in the bar.
Beautiful suite, great staff, great location.
They were doing construction, but that did not bother us at all. That would be my only critique, but it’s normal to need upkeep.
It was downtown where everything is at. The staff was very nice and friendly.
The hotel was very old and its ok nothing fancy. The elevator needs to be updated.
Location was about it.
Outdated furniture. Uncomfortable and dirty couch. Bed ok.
Elevators not working. Very difficult to navigate way around. Some help not friendly. Would not stay again.
location convenience
Loved the hotel rooms, as well as the convenient location in the historic district. It was within easy walking distance of Broughton Street and River Street. The rooms were incredibly nice and comfortable
The parking and access to the property was a bit of an ordeal, but my biggest complaint is with the hotel staff. Valets were rude (they were very busy so I could ignore that) and the front desk employee I dealt with was incredibly rude, asking invasive personal questions. The employee asked me when my due date was for my baby. I am not pregnant, have never been pregnant, and have a long history of struggles with infertility so this was very personal to me, and after I communicated that to her she made no attempt at any kind of apology.
Location and tokens for drinks
Location.
AC didnt work in room. It was really hot. And very expensive for one night. Also when booking was not told I had to use the valet parking that cost an extra 50 dollars. Respectfully won’t stay there again.
Location, overall room layout and furnishings
The thermostat did not seem to work, so had no control of temperature. Lock broken / missing from bathroom door slider.. The bed had a noticeable squeak when I got into or out of bed.
The start were excellent
Location,cleanliness
Netflix didn’t work …all else was excellent
Stayed in the king loft suite. What an amazing room! Just incredible design wise. My boys absolutely loved it. My only complaint is that it could’ve been a bit cleaner. Dust covered the stairs and the corners of the room. The bathroom looked like it was slapped together the day before. But honestly for the value of the hotel super easy to look past. The parking option is bit absurd 50 dollars a night for valet seems a bit steep.
Location and characteristics
My stay at Hotel Indigo in the Downtown Savannah Historic District was absolutely outstanding. The location couldn’t have been better—everything was within easy walking distance, including River Street, City Market, and the riverfront shops and restaurants.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. The team at both the concierge desk and front desk made us feel right at home. A special thank you to Sherry, the manager, who truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We had a small issue with our reservation since it was booked through Expedia and didn’t quite match the hotel’s rates, but Sherry handled everything quickly and professionally. Her attention to detail and dedication made a big difference in our experience.
Throughout our three-day stay, every team member we encountered was courteous and helpful. The service was consistently excellent.
This is definitely a hotel I would choose again when visiting Savannah. Highly recommended!
