Very nice room; very clean and quiet. Great staff.
$48/day for parking is outrageous. On top of that they hit you with a $25 ‘destination fee’ which gets you two drinks at their bar. No thanks; I’d rather you avoid these crass wallet-grabs and simply work this nonsense into the room fee. Just because other hotels do this doesn’t mean you have to as well. Be better.
Great location and really beautiful property.
Parking was $50 a day which was never explained when we booked.
Location
We paid for a premium room with a view and we were given a standard room facing the parking garage. (Rm 526) We checked in with a lady named Sherry and she was very sweet, but I ended up getting a younger different girl when I switched rooms.
The young lady told me that the view that Booking.com has on the website is inaccurate and doesn’t exist and that there isn’t a view at all. Then when I asked for a refund, she then proceeded to give us a handicapped room (we are not handicapped) with the view that’s pictured on Booking.com. (Rm 501)
This room also has an exposed outlet with wires hanging out by the air conditioner behind the curtains. Needless to say or stay was pretty disappointing. (I have a video & pictures of the exposed outlet)
The bartender that we had on the evening of June 17, 2026 was extremely rude & very short with me. I had spoke to other guests and they said that she was extremely rude to them too.
I had asked her what kind of wine she had and she threw a menu at me and walked away. It wasn’t closing time and she wasn’t even busy, she was just wiping the bar down . Needless to say we did not stay at the bar, we just took our wine and went to our room.
The bartender the following evening on June 18 was wonderful.
I’m also being charged an additional hundred dollars from the amount on Booking.com.
I’m not one to complain very much about things, but it was my first time in Savannah and it was on my bucket list so I was pretty disappointed with the whole situation.
Location perfect for walking the historic area of Savannah, City Market, Riverstreet, all very close. We appreciated the complimentary cocktail at the bar! The room was very clean and comfortable.
The view out of our window was a construction zone only, no buildings or river, we had to keep the the curtains closed
The location
The front desk staff unprofessional and unhelpful. Both night and day staff at front desk. Valet service awesome!
It is very close to everything we wanted to do in Savannah, so we could easily walk to everything.
The room was very humid (moist), so that gave the room a smell. We had a suite, and my slept on the couch bed. The couch cushions and the pull out bed were not very clean. My son found toenails when he pulled out the couch bed.
The location was great
Was a little pricey
The location is fabulous!!! The River area is just across the street and and a block over, the down the stairs or an elevator to the fun! Out another door and the market area is half a block away- easy to catch the trolley and other attractions. The king size bedroom was quite small and laid out in an, err, interesting way: the toilet and shower in the bathroom, vanity and mirror in the bedroom just across from the bathroom door. Saying that, though, I did l like the room, the decor quirky and fun, and best of all it was nice and cool after steamy Savannah afternoons. We had a high room from which we could see the river. That was neat, and happened to see the ferry and GIGANTIC Container ships coming down the Savannah! Amazing! Check-in was easy enough. they gave us wooden tokens we could exchange for a cocktail in the evening at the bar, a big coffee urn held morning coffee and cold bottled water was available for free and believe me it was welcome multiple times- so those were very nice. I'd stay here again, but get out and about for breakfast.
I guess our main dislike was the breakfast hour. It was unfortunate- for whatever reason, there was only one wait person in the morning, who did the seating and taking orders, serving, everything. it took up an extraordinary amount of time. The wait person was very sweet but that didnt make up for the totally unorganized way it was run. IT took forever to get seated, then coffee in my opinion shouldn't ever take another 15 minutes or more, then the food wait. I recommend a paper and pencil to write orders down on rather than remembering from the verbal order. Both days, items asked for after the initial food delivery never materialized. Had we not already booked breakfast, we would not have gone back. My husband and I both think this great hotel could use a few more cleaners on staff, particularly the floors. the dining room is cute but the floors need attention. The bartender was waiting on so many folks, time to clean up the bar as the night went on was needed. We had to sit at dirty places each night on our arrival back at the bar.
Loved the experience and walking distance…only negative was a weird urine smell only in first floor. Our room was clean and smelled fine - not sure if the first floor smell had anything to do with rain during our stay.
The location being close o the boardwalk in Savannah was great. Good selection of shopping and food around the location. Staff was accommodating for the most part. Gave us extra towels upon request.
Parking was less than optimal since the only real options was street parking and $48 a night valet service. Rooms were a little small, but serviceable. Free breakfast was a basket of fruits, and the only fruits available while we were there was apples.
