It was ok, but that’s about it.
Pros:

The lobby and bar was nice and it was in a nice area.

Cons:

Room wasn’t clean, paint was peeling of the walls, no signal in the room, no microwave in the room. Water from shower left greasy residue on my hair.

Solid place to stay!
Pros:

Location was perfect!

Cons:

Parking costs from the hotel were crazy ($48) or in a garage next door for $45. I did find a parking garage about 2 blocks away for $12.

We loved staying in the historic district and close to the Savannah River. But we will not stay at a hotel while they ar

We loved being close to the river

Cons:

There was construction going on that we were not aware of before our stay. The elevator was out and no one helped us with our heavy luggage. We were told to go up a story then walk down 5 steps. It was actually down 7 steps then back up another 7 steps.
There was extremely loud noise outside our window (a vehicle with volume extremely high) from 3:00-4:10 Sunday morning. We were told the City Street behind us has people that gather to party frequently.
Lastly the bed had an extremely loud creek. The box springs must have been very old. The mattress was comfortable though.

The young lady in the restaurant was superb!

Cons:

The valet reps were horrible. They were extremely rude & was the reason I would ensure nobody else paid money to stay at that hotel. In addition, the suites are old, not properly cleaned and the accommodations are not suitable for the price. We actually had to carry our own bedding to the room because the guy at the front desk called to asked room service to do it and they never did.

It was fine until we found our car damaged. We will spend days and money getting our car repaired.

Cons:

Parking. After we left the hotel, our car made a weird sound. We stopped and found that our car had been damaged in several places while in the valet parking we paid $48 a night for.

The staff were so kind and helpful.
Pros:

Location and cleanliness.

Cons:

We did not appreciate dogs being allowed in the rooms. There was a dog in a room above us that ran back and forth for about 2 hours in the evening and in the morning. Very annoying! Perhaps those traveling with dogs should have rooms on the first floor to eliminate this issue.
