Séjour incroyable au bord de cette lagune aux 7 couleurs.
Le personnel, d’une gentillesse incroyable. Les petits dej au bord de la lagune sont excellents. Dépaysant et ressourçant.

Pros:

Hotel w wyjątkowo przyjemnym miejscu, bezpośredni dostęp do Laguny, w cenie możliwośc wypożyczenia kajaków. Pokoje przestronne, wygodne łóżka. Trochę daleko od centrum ale można się przespacerować.

Cons:

Bardzo wysoka cena za śniadania.

Très bel hôtel sur la lagune

Le prêt de canoës et de paddles pour profiter du lever et du coucher du soleil : top
Bon restaurant , personnel très agréable

Cons:

Oblige d acheter de l eau le soir pour se laver les dents car pas d eau disponible dans l hôtel et seulement 2 bouteilles pour 3 dans les chambres

Incredibly dissapointing. Stay somewhere else as there are much nicer places
Pros:

The bar and restaurant staff were lovely, friendly and accommodating

Cons:

Really poor stay.
The receptionist staff were incredibly rude and unwelcoming. We asked for a kettle to warm up our baby’s milk and we were told that wouldn’t be possible.
We arranged a tour of the lagoon and they tried to charge us 1000 mxn to be picked up from the pier. Apparently it is to encourage you to use the tour operator that they work with - obviously a very shady practice designed to rip you off.
The rooms are small and dingy.
They were carrying out repair work to the jetty (with no prior warning) for the entirety of our stay so you couldn’t enjoy sunrise or sunset. It was noisy all day with the work. When we raised it with the hotel they said it should be done the following day but it still wasn’t finished when we left 3 days letter. They were not apologetic.
As others have said the breakfast is very stingy - you get small portions, no juice and it isn’t very good. Other than the jam which is delicious and homemade.
The jetty out (when you can use it) does not have very good views of the lagoon.

Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Carolina Bacalar. The staff was very friendly, forthcoming, helpful and even went the extra mile to assist. For example, when you decide to book a tour just one hour before it starts, they make it happen. :)
Kayaks and SUPs were always available to explore the Cenote Negro close by.
Service at the bar and sunbeds is great as well.
Highly recommended!

Cons:

The only thing I can think of is that the guy from the neighboring property really enjoys using his leaf blower every morning. Of course it’s not at all the hotel's fault and didn’t really bother us much, but maybe it's worth mentioning.

Pros:

We loved our room. It was cleaned everyday. The view on the lake is great.

Cons:

We paid for the breakfast during the booking but the breaksfast was very small. It was just eggs, some fruits and a tiny piece of bread. It would have been cheaper to just buy it directly from their restaurant.

The staff wants tips for everything they bring and will definitely show their disappointment if you dont tip.

The property was amazing, location is close to centre on the lagoon, everything was amazing! The little cabinets were supercute! Also the food at the restaurant was really good!

Pros:

Bel hôtel, très bon emplacement au bord du lagon, avec centre ville accessible à pied en 15-20mn, places de parking réservées pour l'hôtel, chambres très confortables, très bon petit déjeuner au bord de l'eau, kayak et paddle disponibles pour les clients, possibilité d'organiser des excursions par l'hôtel... Très bon séjour !

Schöne und bequeme Unterkunft, das Frühstück ist nicht zu empfehlen
Pros:

Tolle Unterkunft mit super Lage direkt an ddr Lagune und bequemen Bett. Neue SUPs und Kajaks die kostenlos benutzt werden können.

Cons:

Das Frühstück kann man sich sparen, schmeckt zwar ganz ok, aber ist nichts besonderes. Es gibt zwar eine Karte mit verschiedenen Frühstücksangeboten, doch alles darauf ist kostenpflichtig. Lediglich ein Kaffee Americano, ein Glas Saft, frische Früchte, ein Toast und ein Ei der Wahl sind inklusive. Wenn du statt dem Kaffee einen Espresso bestellst, kostet dieser extra.
Wir empfehlen in einer der Kaffees im Städtchen zu Frühstücken, diese sind super lecker und kostengünstig.
