Ice machine would work one minute and not working the next. The lady making breakfast was complaining about having to clean up behind people.

Extremely disappointing stay — unsafe room conditions, poor maintenance, and issues that should never happen in a hotel.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had in the United States, and I have stayed in more than 15 hotels across the country.

The first issue is that the advertising does not match the reality of the rooms. Most photos show rooms without carpet, but in reality most rooms have carpet, which is misleading.

When we arrived, we were placed in a room that was completely unusable. A large portion of the carpet was soaked with water, the toilet would not flush, and the room clearly should never have been assigned to guests. When we went to the front desk to report the issue, one staff member even told us that the room should not be in use. This raises a serious question: why was a guest placed in that room in the first place?

We were then moved to another room, but the process took a very long time because we were told no other rooms were available.

Unfortunately, the problems continued in the second room. The carpet at the entrance was torn with nails sticking out, which is a serious safety hazard. The shower was difficult to operate, and the door did not function properly. I had to go down to the front desk two more times just to address basic issues that should never exist in a hotel room.

On top of that, there was no body wash in the bathroom. I asked for it the next day, but it was never replaced, and the room was not serviced either.

This stay was especially disappointing because we came here to celebrate my son’s birthday with our family. Instead of enjoying our time, we spent it dealing with problems that reflect very poor maintenance and management.

I truly hope management takes this situation seriously, because no family should have to go through an experience like this when staying at a hotel.

I would appreciate hearing from management regarding how this situation will be addressed.
