Das Hotel hat was, wie man so schön sagt. Wenn man ein Auge für alte Details hat, ist man hier genau richtig. Alte Fenstergriffe, Stuckdecken, knarrende Dielen, ein super schönes Treppengeländer- für uns eine Fundgrube. Für Pingels - ja der Teppich ist alt, die Farbe blättert an manchen Stellen- dafür hat grosse Zimmer, gutes Frühstück und moderne Betten. Also wir fanden es klasse und wenn wir in Berlin sind, kommen wir wieder. Übrigens wird das Haus gerade renoviert.

Everything else. I didn't stay a second night.
The room bore little resemblance to the photographs displayed. The discrepancy between the advertised standard and reality is unacceptable:
Hazardous and outdated flooring: The carpet is secured by exposed staples holding the old material together.
The corridors emit an unpleasant odor.
The general atmosphere aligns with a low 2-star, if not 1-star, establishment.
The only element reflecting a 3-star rating was the price.

Die freundlichen Mitarbeiter.

Cons:

Zimmer, Treppen, Teppiche waren ziemlich abgewohnt. Eine Sanierung würde das Hotel mit Sicherheit attraktiver machen.
