Pros:

There are two swimming pools.
Breakfast is ok
Location is perfect for visiting and tourism

Cons:

Hotel is old and not renovated
Some of the installations were not working and some lights were sparking
Even if informed the staff did nothing. Took a note and that it's all.
This is a slowly disappearing sprit of a 5 stars hotel.

Pros:

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

I would especially like to thank Wafa, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional.

I highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

Cons:

The only area that could be improved is the breakfast, which could offer a wider variety of options. Other than that, everything was excellent.

Beautiful Art Deco Hotel in an excellent location
Pros:

Beautiful Art Deco hotel in need of a little TLC. Overall excellent location and friendly staff particularly Wafa at the concierge service.

Cons:

Breakfast could have been a little more varied. The hotel needs a little TLC. Otherwise no complaints.

Okay but a bit shabby.
Pros:

The spa and swimming facilities were excellent. The location was perfect. The price I paid (significantly discounted was fair). Lots of fruit at breakfast. Breakfast staff were superb.

Cons:

There are delusions of grandeur here and they need to get the basics right. On arrival, there is a delay checking you in (just enough for the consierge to come over and try to sell you day trips). Then they insist on showing you to your room (which means a tip to avoid embarrassment).

When we arrived, we were hot and wanted a bath but our room had no towels. We had to ask three times to have towels sent up. Then, weirdly, an hour later someone arrived with an entire bed and said we had requested it. Also the hot tub didn’t work and the lamp by the bed was broken. We got the latter things fixed but the hot tub clearly hadn’t been used for a while and spurted out mildew when we turned it on.

Godt, men vigtige mangler
Pros:

Værelse var dejlig med god seng. Personalet var hjælpsom. Poolen ok.

Cons:

Morgenbuffet var forfærdeligt. Høj musik ved pool. Hotellet var under renovering med meget larm i dagtimerne.

A fost cat de cat ok dar nu este pentru pretențioși.
Pros:

Faptul ca era aproape de toate obiectivele din Istambul și camera.Paturile era foarte comode și camera mare

Cons:

Mirosea urat în baie,a canalizare și restul hotelului se vedea ca nu a fost întreținut.Micul dejun clar nu a fost demn de cele 5 stele ale hotelului

Broken Shower, Poor Breakfast, and Missing Belongings
Pros:

I was very disappointed with my stay at the Wyndham Old City Istanbul.

The shower in our room was broken and did not work properly, which was very inconvenient. Despite informing the hotel, the issue was not resolved satisfactorily.

The breakfast was also disappointing. The selection was limited, the quality was only average, and there were not enough shaded seating areas, making it uncomfortable to enjoy breakfast, especially in the morning sun.

To make matters worse, a pair of flip-flops disappeared from our room during our stay. Although they were not of great value, it is unacceptable that personal belongings go missing from a hotel room.

Overall, this hotel did not meet the standards I expected from the Wyndham brand. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it based on my experience.
