Quality Inn & Suites Mackinaw City Beachfront

Not a great place. Price was good, with an ocean view. But it's not that clean, you CANNOT lock the doors. The lock is falling off the door that adjoining 2 rooms. The sliding door has not lock at all. The continental breakfast is very slim. Actually I'd give 2 stars to the town of Mackinac City.

Room was dirty and smelled

Not good, I could not cancel my reservation 48 hours in advance, most places it is 24 hours.
I have two rooms for two days, I could not use room #108 it was so bad!

No towels or washcloths in room; phone in room didn't work; walls were dirty - looked like coffee had been thrown at the wall and never cleaned up; no elevator; dirty bathroom floor; fridge door was bent, making it difficult to open and close. Was supposed to have a room with a view of the island; I had a view of the parking lot.

Was traveling in a motorcycle and parking was right outside my room. Very happy with that

Honestly just the view

In serious need of upkeep needs to be remodeled. one of our rooms (103) had a bucket under the sink because it leaked all the timefloor because the plumbing was messed up. There was no towels. We didn’t check in until six, check-in time was at three rooms were not ready. They weren’t ready until an hour after we got there. Beach was dirty. Nobody cleaned up the siding and had spiderwebs and dried up mayflies all over it. Moss out on the deck in the balconies. Room(483). The breakfast only had coffee, no cream no orange juice no bread no bagels just breakfast sandwiches bought at the supermarket. Floor in the room (150) had soft spots when you walked on it. the sheets were queen sheets on a king bed and they never stayed in.

This place is a “DUMP”. Unless you are a “Elite” member of their program your room will be the dumpster style room. There were water stains on the ceiling and you need a step stool to enter your room (110). Stains also on the walls. Some light fixtures didn’t work.

Left after finding bed bugs in 20 min of being in room 191. They denied giving my 300 dollars back. Do not go to this place its absolutely gross. Inside and out

My family and I were completely disgusted with our room within 5 minutes of being in it. As soon as we arrived, we noticed trash on the doorstep and a full trashcan right by our door, including used bandaids. Once in the room, we noticed open electrical wires behind our bed, the bathroom door immediately fell off the hinges after GENTLY opening it, the curtain rod and curtain fell off while trying to close for privacy, our beds had multiple stains on the sheets/comforters, the ceiling had holes big enough for mice to fit through along with toilet paper shoved in them to possibly stop insects/pests getting through. If you book a room here, make sure to take flea/tick medication a week beforehand.

The building exterior is filthy. Linen appeared to be clean, though there was a hole in one of the sheets—no obnoxious room smell. Moss is growing on the balcony. Cobwebs on the ceiling, in corners, and in the bathtub, which makes me wonder when last cleaned. Unless you have no other choice, drive by.

This was by far one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. Dirty stained sheets, no outlet covers, wires sticking out of the wall. Hair all over, poop in the toilet.

I stayed on July 11, 2026… I was very happy with the location had a view of the beach and the price was reasonable Room was clean it is out dated but well enough for my stay there. The maid was very nice and were respectful when to clean my room. Front desk was informative and professional. I did not have the breakfast to add comments.

Location was convenient

The location being right in the water and being able to go onto a back porch to drink coffee or sit on beach chairs near the water.
