Pros:

Struttura accogliente e pulita, situata in posizione strategica per trekking nella valle dell’orfento. Colazione buona e molto ricca, possibilità di usufruire della piscina dell’hotel. Personale gentile e molto disponibile.

Pros:

Struttura in ottima posizione con possibilità di parcheggio privato. Ottima la colazione. Staff disponibile e sempre cordiale, l'accoglienza abruzzese è eccezionale e lo staff di quest'albergo lo conferma.

Cons:

La struttura è oggettivamente datata, le camere e l'arredamento avrebbero bisogno di una sistemata, sopratutto i bagni. Ottima la piscina ma anche lì è giunta l'ora di una rinfrescata

Lovely traditional hotel
Pros:

A lovely old style hotel with the added bonus of a swimming pool. Staff were all super friendly and an excellent buffet breakfasr (sweet and savoury) is served. The room was quite small but had a good sized balcony so it wasn't a problem.

Amazing views. Very cosy, friendly hotel with wonderful staff who made our dog feel very welcome. Excellent breakfast.

Pros:

Breakfast was lovely.

Cons:

They don't turn the AC on until the evening and then turn it off at midnight. We asked and they told us no. That's not the AC included that I booked the room for. The room was on the street with the lights and traffic so opening the windows would not allow me to sleep. I'm a light sleeper, which is why I chose a place with AC. I'm fine with windows open if it's dark and quiet but that's rare to find. There were underwear in the top of the wardrobe which makes you wonder about the cleaning...

Great stay in Caramanico Terme!
Pros:

The location was excellent, not far from the start of the hiking for the Orfento Valley. Close to historic section and several great restaurants. Nice pool, great breakfast and fantastic staff! Had a nice experience at the spa as well.

Cons:

Beds were a bit firm for our taste, but that is personal preference. The fact that the Terme have been closed since 2021 and it showed as open in Google and ChatGPT was a problem since we wanted to go and was part of the reason for our interest in this village. But in spite of that, we had an excellent stay at Hotel Cercone!!
