pessimo rapporto qualita prezzo
Pros:

prezzo davvero esorbitante per un soggiorno di media qualità. televisione non andava, personale non molto chiaro, una sola presa utilizzabile in camera. il letto almeno era comodo

My dearest Romagna
Pros:

We stayed 10 nights at this nice and relaxing hotel. It's a retro hotel, liberty style, so don't expect it to be something modern! The furniture is dated, but it's exactly what makes this hotel special! Wonderful breakfast served everyday at the park. Food was ok, we always had fresh fish. Sometimes we couldn't understand what the hell did they put in the vol au vent at the buffet but we realized the guests are mostly international so probably they liked that type of cuisine . As italians we preferred other food served, and we appreciated a lot the choice between 5-6 main courses and 5 second courses of fish or meat. The service was good, all the guys were available, nice and professional, we want to say a big thank you to our waiter Vittorio, who was always quick, precise and kind. Walking to the beach everyday was a real pleasure crossing the pine forest just in front of the hotel. A nice 3 minutes walk and we were at the beach. We booked here because we received an interesting discount from getur and in 4 years we know this hotel group we had great holidays at cheaper prices. The hotel is located close to the center so in the evening we could enjoy a walk through the pedestrain area (that starts at the corner of the building) where bars, restaurants, disco, mini golf, live music and stalls attract families and expecially youth. The sea was better than expected.. And we definitely suggest this hotel for your next holiday

Park Hotel - Ravenna
Pros:

We visited this hotel just at the start of the season (in fact we were part of a large party and they opened the hotel early for us). It is well-located 5 min walk from the beach/marina. It should be noted that it is quite a distance from Ravenna itself so a car is mandatory if you want to see the historic sights of Ravenna itself. The rooms are slightly above average but not lux. As it was pre-season, the pool was not yet in operation so I cannot comment on this. Also due to above the restaurant was not open so comment cannot be made on that. This would be very good place to stay in the summer months.

Fantastic stay at an Italian retro classic.
Pros:

My wife and I stayed at Park Hotel, Marina Di Ravenna in early June for 1 week with my family to celebrate my father's 60th birthday. The hotel itself is a retro throwback to the 50's/60's but has been very well kept through the years. The lobby, bar and hall areas seem fairly unchanged but in a good, unspoilt way. The room was great with a decent balcony, air con, shower over the bath (high pressure) and a large wardrobe with safe. The double bed was 2 beds pushed together but this was hardly noticable and actually provided lots of space. The (stocked) fridge was useful for keeping our own water and beers cool. Our room was 4th floor, at the back of the hotel meaning that although it didn't have a sea view, we couldn't hear the music from the local bars on Fri/Sat night. Staff were great and most staff spoke good English. Extra effort was put in to arrange a surprise cake on my dad's birthday. The restaurant was amazing - 4 course full Italian meal every night with different dishes every time. Great pasta, meats, fish etc and many dishes local to the Emila-Romagna region. Excellent. The pool area was very well kept, surrounded by tall established trees to give welcome shade. Comfortable loungers and hotel towels. A new beer tap had just been installed at the pool hut also. Across the road was the start of a winding path which led to the hotel owned section of beach. Beach is very wide, clean and has all facilities to spend the day there without having to leave. Each room has 2 sun loungers and umbrella reserved on the beach. The resort of Marina Di Ravenna attracts mainly Italians and had a refreshing lack of English accents! Local markets are held along the road from the hotel. I really can't think of any major negatives of this hotel other than some noise from the local bars on weekend nights. Overall a fantastic, relaxing week at a refreshingly retro, Italian classic.

Pleasant stay, but not the best
Pros:

The Park Hotel frontage gives you the impression that the hotel lives up to its 4 stars. The reception is pleasant and the staff are all welcoming and helpful. They also seemed to speak reasonable english.

The rooms are okay, but I wouldn't say exceptional. However, they were spotless and not a short & curly in sight.

Flat screen TVs, but only CNN and BBC World in english. Rai TV channels in Italian and Eurosport.

Internet access is expensive if you're only staying for a short while and no access from the higher floors, so I had to go into the lobby for reasonable wireless access.

The location isn't bad, with a two minute walk to the beach. Plenty of restaurants close by too. I never ate in the hotel, so can't comment on that.

The bar...not manned full-time, so trying to get a drink required a visit to reception to get anybody to serve us. I would suggest walking 100m down the road to get a drink.

Overall I was happy with the two separate times I stayed, but I wasn't paying. If I was, then I would look at other options, although I wouldn't be completely disappointed.

Pros and Cons
Pros:

I have just returned from a 3 days stay at this Hotel. I was very happy with the beach, the pool, the wide rooms, the very friendly staff.
Beware, though, of the difficulty in getting there (it is about 10 km from Ravenna, in a nice and lively area, but not easy to find) and most of all of the NOISE during the night as there are plenty of dancing clubs, also in the open-air, that you can hear right into your room even with windows closed.
It's a pity since the place itself is otherwise peaceful.
You WILL need ear-plugs (and they are not provided at the concierge).
In September, prices were interesting.

a nice surprise
Pros:

We stayed here during the summer for a few days. The hotel used to be the King of Italy's hunting lodge many years ago.It is a good 20 minutes from Ravenna, but we did not mind as there is an excellent and cheap, frequent bus service that stops outside the hotel. We chose this hotel as we did not want the noise and parking problems associated with many hotels in Italian cities. This hotel has its own parking;its own large swimmimg pool;its own tennis courts and....its own beach! For the room rate we had access to everything including parasols and loungers on the beach! The food was delicious, with a good wine list. The rooms had just been re-carpeted and painted throughout the hotel. The A/C worked well.I think the hotel should update its bedding as we found our mattress lumpy. There is a lot to see and do in Ravenna, and I would stay here again.
