A nice stop on our trip to rest up for travel.
Pros:

Reminded me of the old days vacationing with my family—and I mean that in a good way! Nostalgic! Wonderful staff and breakfast.

Cons:

Getting to the hotel is mind boggling 😜 the round-about is a doozy but just keep trying! You’ll get it!

Comfortable stay with great bathrooms
Pros:

Newly renovated bathroom with sliding glass shower screen was awesome! Enjoyed the make-your-own waffles at breakfast. Location was a little quieter than being right on the motorway. Great access to a pretty walk along the Erie Canal.

Cons:

Cracked glass window taped over (but owner said getting labour to fix was very difficult at the moment)

The beds were comfortable

Cons:

The rooms smelled horribly, the electrical and the bathrooms were outdated. The showers were gross, the rooms smelled like an old Chinese restaurant and my mother almost cut her foot open on the metal strip that separates the carpet and flooring that goes from the entryway to the bedroom area. She had to put a towel down to remind her to step over. I got 3 rooms for the stay. They were nonrefundable otherwise we would have left. I told the front desk about the issues.

Very Comfortable Bed! Clean hotel! Good value!
Pros:

The room was jug, clean and the King bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast was good and there were plenty of places to sit. The staff was friendly and polite.

Cons:

The lobby is very dated. The tv is awful. We couldn’t watch the basic network channels. If the tv is going to be limited, at least offer the chance to watch Netflix or YouTube using the guest’s own account.

Pros:

Clean comfortable room, great air conditioning, nice breakfast in the morning downstairs, nice hot shower, staff was kind, easy check in/check out process.

Cons:

Pillows were too soft for me (didnt realize I could have switched them for firmer pillows until we were leaving) and the 2nd night our room keys didnt work. After a long day at the fair we had to go all the way back down to have them reactivated.

The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. We had a very relaxing stay.
Pros:

Everything was very clean and comfortable.

Cons:

It is set back so far it was hard to find. If you miss the entrance you have to go back around the roundabout.
