Excellent service and a prime location in Cairns!
Pros:

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and cheerful, making us feel truly welcome. Our room had a stunning ocean view and a great sense of openness. I found myself taking photos over and over again. The location was also excellent! There are lots of delicious restaurants and cafes within walking distance which allowed us to fully enjoy our stay.

Nice hotel
Pros:

We stayed at this property for 4 nights over the Easter holiday. The price was fairly reasonable given that we booked late and it was a holiday. We received an upgrade at check in.

The hotel is adjacent to the marina, making it convenient to the reef tours and other excursions while easily walkable to the downtown area. It’s an older property that has obviously been renovated. Our room was comfortable and clean although not very large. There was a nice balcony with a water view. The “spa suite” means that there’s a Jacuzzi as part of a “wet room” with the shower and tub in the same space. I’d really rather have a separate shower. Housekeeping was provided daily.

As diamond members, we had access to the executive lounge. It provided a small breakfast and afternoon drinks/snacks. It was often pretty crowded as families were trying to make dinner out of the afternoon snacks. Service was good.

This hotel served our purpose very well and made it convenient to get to our excursions. We’d go back.

The buffet Breakfast was divine.

Definitely recommend if you stay at Cairns.

Sone public areas a bit dated, but it hadn't been a issue or major concerns.
