Personnel chaleureux et accueillant.
Wonderful Hotel on Capitol Hill in perfect walking distance to Rayburn, Cannon, and Longworth Building.
Very friendly staff & accommodating to all needs. Clean & the restaurant attached to the hotel is so good!
Super beliggenhed for alle, der gerne vil bo tæt på centrum og de mange monumenter mv. Alt er i gåafstand. God service og meget hjælpsomt personale der gjorde mit ophold endnu bedre.
I did like it was not far from much. Overall clean
When you walk in they say to check in on a tablet. Because I booked with booking it wanted to charge me twice. An employee had to check me in. The room is tight not much walking room if the bed is down. We checked out early did not stay the third day.
The 2 staff members that assisted me with a parking deck issue were absolutely wonderful and quick to do anything they could to help me. I really can’t praise them enough.
Let’s start with the parking deck. Absolutely abysmal. Low ceiling was contacting the top of my midsize Colorado pickup. One lane entry around a corner making visibility a nightmare. Sign said “Just drive through” with no pull ticket or code to scan to make a payment when entering. This QRC code was nowhere to be found in the deck to prepare payment and wasn’t provided or mentioned at the self check in kiosk So I assumed it would be something I handled when leaving the parking deck.
Room was half the size of the room I had at Arlo the night before for only $50 more which came to the same price after the $55 I was charged for the parking deck for less than 15 hours.
When attempting to leave the deck I approached the gate which wouldn’t open. I was there before 6am and since others open around that time I waited thinking that was the issue. Luckily an employee was coming in to work and noticed I was stuck and quickly parked and sent someone out to help. The floor sensor didn’t pickup my vehicle approaching so I had to back up and drive towards the gate again with the direction of the second front desk employee. I get up to the gate and there was the QRC code I needed. Just kidding, it wasn’t. It just immediately made my phone send a code to a 6 digit phone number and did nothing. I get out of my truck and have to leave my daughter in the backseat because I’m now stuck between a gate and a control arm and go inside. The second employee finds me the QRC code on a business card. I enter my info, pay, get confirmation, gate still won’t open. I back up as far as I can and attempt to reapproach and nothing. So I had to call the help phone number listed on the sign since nothing is working. A few minutes after being on hold I get someone who has to open the door remotely and was finally able to leave the parking deck after over 20 minutes.
You’re given only towels and no wash cloths.
No coffee in the room.
Funcional , limpio y ubicación
Checkin demasiado tarde
Everything was amazing
There wasn’t anything wrong
Read reviews and was scared about what I was walking into but honestly this hotel was pretty solid! If you're looking for a stay with tons of elite amenities then this isn't for you. But the rooms were more than fairly priced. The room we stayed in was clean and cozy. Not a huge room but we were other in it to sleep and get ready in the morning. The shower and toilet area were kind of different with how they are built but hey, no complaints. It was essentially a really nice budget friendly hotel. The staff were all helpful and people centered. Location wise was incredible! We had a view of the Capital building, which is like a block away. And it's close to all the historical stuff to do in DC. Easy uber ride or walk away.
Todo
No dejar subir bebidas a la terraza y zona de piscina .
I really enjoyed the ambiance and the rooftop patio/pool area.
I think they made the room designs too "futuristic". Is it cool that you can change the color of the lights in the room, sure, but I think some of the features felt more like gimmick than functional and were kind of a pain to use.
De vriendelijke mensen
We stayed at Yotel for 5 days/4 nights. Overall, it was a poor experience and I would not re-book this property. There was no water in the hotel on the first night. OK, I get it, sometimes there are events that can't be controlled. However, I went down to the front desk and was told they had no idea when the water would come back but that the hotel would make some gesture for the problem. When the water came back (it was back by the next morning) , it was brown until we ran it for about 10 minutes.
On the second day, we went to eat breakfast at the hotel restaurant. We were told they weren't ready for us and to sit in the lobby. When we went to sit in the lobby, the same person who told us to sit in the lobby told us the seat was reserved and directed us to other specific seats. At that point, we just walked across the street to the Hyatt Regency for breakfast.
On the third day, I made the mistake of trying to use one of the lobby bathroom stalls. Instead of using toilet paper rolls, Yotel uses little rectangular sheets of toilet paper. Well, nobody had restocked he toilet paper sheet dispenser. I waited until the bathroom was clear and made it over to another stall.
Later, we got back to our room and found ourselves locked out. The front desk told me "You must have de-magentized the card with your cell phone" although I pointed out the card was working on the elevator. She gave us new cards and told us to try again. So we went back up, tried the lock again and, of course, it turned out the lock's batteries were dead. Back down to the front desk again. We were told then told to go back to the hallway and wait for engineering.
On our final night, there were a bunch of kids up between 3 to 4AM on our floor who were wandering around, opening and closing room doors on the floor. The noise was easily heard from our room, preventing sleep.
On the positive side, Lucy was friendly and did a great job keeping our room clean. I told her she should be running hotel. Some folks in our group checked out of the hotel immediately after it lost water. In retrospect, I should have done the same and can't recommend this property despite the fact it was perfectly located for our trip. I would have gladly spent more to avoid the experience.
