A must visit hotel

My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and explore Monterey and we couldn’t have asked for a better hotel. The location along the beach was unbeatable. Walking into the lobby and being greeted by an unobstructed view of the crashing waves took my breath away. The staff were very friendly and welcoming upon check in, giving us the run down on all of the lovely amenities the property has to offer. Rebekah from the front desk was even available to us via text during our stay to ensure any needs we had were met and any questions we had were answered. As for the rooms, they are very clean, comfortable and cozy. So clean in fact that after walking around the room in white socks, they remained white. I would recommend getting an ocean facing room on an upper level of the hotel to get the best view. It was very peaceful at night and the only thing we could hear was the waves lulling us to sleep. Overall it was an incredible stay for an incredible price. Other stays with less amenities were a little cheaper but in the same ball park so I would personally stay here again because I think I would be very disappointed if I chose any other hotel.

Amazing stay for my 30th Birthday
Pros:

I visited with my 2 sisters for my 30th birthday and had an amazing stay. The manager was very accommodating and made my birthday so special. We enjoyed the complementary drinks and s’mores kits. Being right on the water was the best part, hearing the waves crashing onto the shore. The restaurant was also amazing and beautiful views. The rooms are clean, a bit small with no private balconies but overall it worked for us. The fire pits shut off at 10pm so defiantly enjoy before then. It can also get windy at time so I would recommend bringing a jacket or blanket just incase. I loved the private beach access and the wellness area as well.

Great location right on the beach with beautiful views. Room was kept very clean and towels were replaced daily. Good espresso machine in the room. Nice fire pits with s’mores provided by the front desk

Cons:

Breakfast is not included- there is a restaurant but the cost is a little steep to have every morning when you will also be eating out all day. Parking is an additional 50 plus tax per night. Was charged $9 for a water bottle that we never used
