I loved coming to this hotel and only wish I could’ve stayed for longer!
Pros:

It’s an amazing hotel on the beach. They give you wine when you get there and the facilities are really nice. Lots of areas indoors and outdoors to sit and enjoy the ocean.

Cons:

We were celebrating our engagement and our loved ones tried to send us gifts of champagne and it never got to us but they did comp the resort and parking fee. There is a hefty parking fee.

Nice view! Right on the beach!

Cons:

Some of the worst pillows I have ever experienced in a hotel or even anyone's house. They were basically a folded pair of pants inside of a pillow case. Didn't help that there were four of them.

Hotel charges for a lot of things without disclosing to you in advance, especially if you book with Booking.com - $50 parking, $18 water bottles. Wellness Center is not very big and was not warm despite opening at 815am. Would not be staying here again given the expense.

Beautiful and comfy.
Pros:

This is the second time we’ve been here. The staff is nice and helpful. The view is beautiful and it’s comfortable and close to everything. Will definitely come back.

De naam v het hotel doet meer vermoeden , parkeren moet je zelf toch 39 per nacht plus tax
Golfslag erg luid in onderste etage

Cons:

Alle ramen smerig, douche en wc ruimte heel klein
Zou de prijs niet zo hoog zijn, kun je ermee leven

Beautiful Location, But Premium Room Fell Short
Pros:

We stayed at Monterey Beach Club, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott, in a King Premium Ocean View room. The location and view were the clear highlights of the stay. The hotel is right by the beach, and hearing the waves from the room was wonderful. The beachfront fire pits, sunset views, and lobby bar atmosphere added to the coastal experience.

However, the room itself did not feel as premium as expected. It was small, there was no private balcony, and the outdoor outlook area lacked privacy. The bed was squeaky, and the soundproofing between rooms was poor, which is not ideal for guests hoping for a quiet or romantic weekend.

As Marriott Platinum Elite members booking with Luminous benefits, we were also disappointed by the breakfast. The included breakfast was a continental basket, which felt limited compared to other Luminous stays we have experienced. The $9 refillable water also felt like an unnecessary extra charge.

The pour-your-own wine bar credit was a nice perk, and the lobby bar was busy but offered prompt service and beautiful sunset views. Overall, this hotel has an amazing location and oceanfront atmosphere, but the room quality and benefit experience did not fully match the premium price point.
