Great view, but overall very disappointing.
Pros:

The location of the hotel, metres from the beach. The view is outstanding.

Cons:

There was construction work in the kitchen directly above my room for most of the night.
I informed the staff of this at 01:45, after I had sourced the noise myself. See photo.
Noise continued past 3am. I have brought this up with Booking.com.
Barely slept, and overall an awful nights experience in a rather expensive room.
Shower pressure was also terrible.

The best view in Monterey!
Pros:

The location cannot be beat. I'm the ocean view rooms you can hear the ocean, as well as see it. Fun restaurant and bar with great views.

I liked the close proximity to the beach and the pool and gym area

Cons:

I didn’t like that I found out after checkout that parking is $60 a night. I wasn’t expecting that. I also didn’t like how sensitive their smoke detector was and we were charged for smoking in the room which we did not do. The manager did state it was sensitive and reversed the $500 charge.

Pros:

From the time of arrival until departure you are the center of attention. All of your senses will delighted. Enjoy the beach and the best food in all of Monterey. I’m already counting the days until I return to this haven.

The ocean views can’t be beat!
Pros:

Location was excellent, lobby was beautiful, views and atmosphere was amazing. Loved there was free coffee in the lobby since I refuse to use coffee makers in the room. We got a free glass of wine for every adult in the room, so I was able to have some free wine whilst watching marine life in the beautiful lobby area. It is a relaxing and beautiful property.

Cons:

Common outside areas could use more maintenance, seating could get very sandy and wet. I couldn’t figure out how to use the fire pit and there were no clear instructions posted. Beds were just ok.
