Good location, not far from the tube and local restaurants/shops.

After speaking to the manager about the issues with our room we were offered a different room which was appreciated. Bigger, more comfortable bed with a far better shower.

Cons:

Water pressure in shower was pathetic. Truly awful. Bed small and uncomfortable. Didn't appreciate the glass bathroom door. Safety latch on door didn't work. Mouldy grout in bathroom. Mugs/glasses weren't cleaned/replaced or tea/coffee/milk replaced.

Our replacement room still had a glass toilet door.
Light switch for bedside lights didn't work.

It did seem like the initial problems with our first room weren't unusual or unexpected to the staff... My guess would be that they don't fix the cheaper rooms hoping that guests won't bother to complain.

Good value for the money. Great deal for London in a good area.
Pros:

Room was nice, but we did not have any cleaning. Breakfast was not very diverse, but the quality was otherwise good. There was only one bread available, and it was the unhealthy and boring very white toast.

Cons:

Room cleaning was missing and that would have made a difference for the better.

Home away from home
Pros:

This hotel was a great find. It felt warm and welcoming and the staff were always available to help. What impressed us was they really understood what traveler's extra needs are, for example, free lockers. The breakfasts were generous and delicious. We were super impressed all round

Hôtel calme et bien placé
Pros:

Emplacement dans un quartier tranquille, proche de l’arrêt de métro South Kensington desservi par 3 lignes, dont celle qui mène directement à l’aéroport de Heathrow (LHR). Chambre confortable, même si elle présente un peu de « signes de fatigue » (fil lampes de chevets malmenés, pluie de douche entartrée, fenêtres difficiles à ouvrir, etc.). Personnel de réception aimable et disponible. Disponibilité en self service du refill des produits dans le hall.

Cons:

Le choix lors du petit déjeuner est restreint, ceci surtout si vous venez après 9h. Le premier jour nous avons pris le petit déjeuner à 9h30 et il n’y avait que du pain, beurre, confiture, fromage et yaourt de disponible. Les autres jours nous avons pu profiter des fruits frais et des viennoiseries. Un peu déçu du choix global pour un hôtel 4 étoiles.

El idioma muy cerrado por parte del personal, costaba un poco.
Necesitan detallar más que son las cosas que ofrecen en el desayuno y/o tener más opciones en el desayuno.
Tuvieron problemas con los 2 ascensores del hotel, era difícil moverse con las maletas sin los ascensores. Cuándo nos retirábamos, a las 4 am de la mañana para ir al aeropuerto, el ascensor se descompuso y tu vimos que esperar 45 minutos para que nos puedan sacar de ahí, casi perdimos nuestro vuelvo. Tuvimos que pedir Uber para poder llegar a tiempo, nos ofrecieron disculpas y nos reembolsaron lo del Uber, pero no tuvieron ningún otro tipo de atención hacia nosotros por el mal momento que pasamos.
