This property is visually run down and the desk staff is less than friendly (clearly not happy to confront issues brought up by the patrons, and there were many). It's possible this property just changed hands, I hope I get my Marriott points before they find out.
Restaurant and bar staff was the shining start of this property, very friendly and eager to assist.
Unfortunately, due to the age and obvious deterioration I won't come back here again.
They closed the restaurant for breakfast the Sunday we were to check out, even though we were given tickets for breakfast that morning. I confronted the front desk and just got rude push back, so that was enough for me. If I wasn't already checking out on Sunday I would have searched for another place to stay since I expect a but more from Marriott Bonvoy.
Rooms are in need of refurbishment, electrical outlet next to the bed was operated by the light in the bathroom - if you plug a device (such as a CPAP) in, you have to leave the bathroom light on all night. The room is very dark and missing bulbs in the lamps.
There is a dangerous stairway going down to the restaurant and bar from the lobby. You need to be extremely careful and I would not recommend it for an elderly person, there are tiny signs warning you.
You'll have to walk way down the hallway, use the elevator to go down one level, and then walk all the way back to the restaurant/bar otherwise.
The indoor pool actually had Southern exposure.
Great value, it was very quiet, everyone was very professional.
That they only have 1 door to enter or exit, e every other door is locked with an alarm, very hard when you are at the way other end of the property and have to walk through entire hotel to get out into a parking lot with only around 20 spots for the entire hotel.
Clean rooms, but lack of communication from hotel staff when booking long term stays. My original month long stay got interrupted one night where they kicked us out stating they were booked over the weekend for an event. I did not get any information about this when I booked the reservation or at check in. Yet I was forced to find somewhere else to stay that weekend while they prioritized making a profit for an event and showed lack of care for long term customers.
The room was big and cozy. The hotel is located around the airport, close from the main attractions and the Amtrak train station as well. There was a problem with me credit card but Ms Helana was able to fix it and handle very well. Thank you! I would definitely be back to this hotel location soon again.
I liked checking out and running away from that wretched place
NOISY NOISY NOISY NOISY NOISY
Good
Front desk agent...very nice and professional. Im sorry, I think her name was Helena?
Decent facility at a reasonable rate. Pool was nice. Staff was friendly. Daily housekeeping if desired.
Breakfast wasn't included, had to pay for parking, limited shuttle service. No TV streaming options.
I liked the room size and most of the staff
I didn't like the distance the handicap room was from the front desk and on the 2nd floor who does that. I also didn't like how the key card hardly ever worked and I had to walk back down to front desk to get fixed oh yeah I'm disabled and don't walk well.
My hotel room was such a distance away from the front lobby and hotel had with an extended corridor and the room smelled of mildew. I asked to have my room relocated since I was one of the earlier guest to arrive before my group and was told that it would not be possible at all to relocated my room. There was a front and rear parking lot with only one entrance to the property at the front into the lobby even with key access. Guests who parked in the rear had to walk around to the front entrance.
The property did not provide complimentary breakfast and fresh clean room with a bad smell.
Location was great, property can be a little cleaner however overall not bad for a two day stay
I don't remember the red head lady that checked me in at the front desk, however, I've she's checked me in before & her attitude was not friendly then either! There are two representatives at the front desk who are always nice & friendly to me being the customer.
When I checked in on Saturday, June 7th after driving 1.5 hours, I specifically asked to make sure my room did not smell like a dog! Two weeks before they had me in a room that smelled horrible! I woke up with a migraine!
This stay, Priceline stated the hotel had a microwave & refrigerator in the room. I got to the room & there was no microwave. I went back down to the front desk & asked the rude redhead lady for a microwave & she said they didn't have one, & there were two different groups in the hotel. The last time I was there, they found a microwaves.
I explained to her that I drove too far not to have one & she said she would ask the manager of housekeeping to check. I never heard back from her. An hour went by, I went back down to the front desk, the redhead lady was getting off & talking to a larger lady who was going to smoke. I wanted to say something, however, it wasn't worth me being as ignorant as they were.
I checked out on Sunday, spoke with the front desk supervisor about my issues & let her know that I'd be contacting Priceline for some type of compensation for misleading information about the microwave.
Priceline called today & the front desk supervisor gave a different story. She said there is a microwave in the lobby & it states on the reservation about no microwaves. Thats a lie. Priceline agreed that, they list a microwave & refrigerator in the room. If they don't have that, then they need to remove it. Priceline doesn't know what the hotel has & doesn't have other than what they put on their website.
This hotel has really gone done. So disappointing.
Comfortable beds, quiet, and convenient, just the spot we needed as we had a 0500 flight.
Check in was a breeze. Staff fantastic. This is always our go to hotel for MKE airport
