I am grateful and hopeful my stay was pleasant as it could be and I am glad I did not get rearended.
Pros:

just happy to get a nice clean room with nice clean neat bed and clean bathroom. very clean towels . very quite room and the TV auto detected that I was no longer watching the TV and shut off. the staff was nice attentive and courteous. even though I did not need to be that close to the airport I was happy there was a place available. The morning breakfast was nice and it all was out at the time they said it would be and what was supposed to be hot was HOT and what was supposed to cold was COLD. So, Thank You! everything was clean no musty smell of any kind.

what I could say is that the signage to enter into the hotel could be better lit up at night and a more pronounced with information to turn here when I was driving to the hotel entrance at night it came up quickly to make a right with cars closely behind me that where making a right as well onto the highway. And I thought that there was no other entrance and if I make a right I am going to be stuck on the highway, SO I had to make a choice SO, I stopped just past the driveway on the right put my flashers on to avoid being struck and let the cars go around me then when it was safe to do so I backed up to the entrance but not long before cars where coming again. only to realize that even after I had passed the driveway and made a right which I thought was the on ramp to the highway which it was that there was another entrance after the right turn and indeed was another entrance & exit if I would have made the right turn at the light. to where I thought and it was the entrance to the highway. that was my only feedback. It could be lit up better at night for the entrance. the local people do not give curtesy to those who do not know the area.
A reminder, and positivity sign that can change people's thought to the locals to be patience and kind would be nice and positive. You are a pillar to the local commonwealth community. We are all only human. LOVE and Kindness is contagious and has the butterfly effect. I hope for change for a better future. Thank you for listening to my voice.

I was a decent stay with good food.

I liked the fact that pool runs year round

Basically My Only Positive Point Of View, Regarding My Stay At The Royale Hotel Was, The Staff, And The Astectics Of The
Pros:

The Outside Of The Property.. Left A lot To Be Desired. There Weren’t Any Signs On The Building, Stating The Name Of The Hotel. The Inside Of The Building Was Very Clean, And Up To Date. But The Hallways Were “EXTREMELY LONG” Their Weren’t Any Microwaves In The Rooms, There Wasn’t Any Fans In The Bathroom, You Had To Ask For A Voucher.. To Eat Breakfast. And I Had To Pay An Extra $50.00 For Incidentals? Not Sure Why, I Do Plan To Call About That One. The Parking Lot In Need Of Desperate Repair. My Husband Had To Go Inside To Ask, If We Were Indeed At The Royale Hotel.

NICE STAY
Pros:

We liked this hotel, location very convenient and we were received by the owners, hosters were so kind, breakfast excellent, we really enjoyed our stay there.

Poor Service / Needs Rennovation
Pros:

This property is visually run down and the desk staff is less than friendly (clearly not happy to confront issues brought up by the patrons, and there were many). It's possible this property just changed hands, I hope I get my Marriott points before they find out.
Restaurant and bar staff was the shining start of this property, very friendly and eager to assist.
Unfortunately, due to the age and obvious deterioration I won't come back here again.
They closed the restaurant for breakfast the Sunday we were to check out, even though we were given tickets for breakfast that morning. I confronted the front desk and just got rude push back, so that was enough for me. If I wasn't already checking out on Sunday I would have searched for another place to stay since I expect a but more from Marriott Bonvoy.

Rooms are in need of refurbishment, electrical outlet next to the bed was operated by the light in the bathroom - if you plug a device (such as a CPAP) in, you have to leave the bathroom light on all night. The room is very dark and missing bulbs in the lamps.

There is a dangerous stairway going down to the restaurant and bar from the lobby. You need to be extremely careful and I would not recommend it for an elderly person, there are tiny signs warning you.
You'll have to walk way down the hallway, use the elevator to go down one level, and then walk all the way back to the restaurant/bar otherwise.
